Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted July 1, 2014 Posted July 1, 2014 Can they ask to review to make it an error? That's BS. You can, but after the game is there really a point?
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted July 1, 2014 Posted July 1, 2014 I don't think what you're asking will happen until he gets a shorter swing and gets use to that type of batting profile. He needs time and constant reminders. with Gose's speed and lack of ability with the stick, I'm 100% sure he's had bunting shoved up his ass for 3-4 years. if he hasn't figured it out yet he's not going to.
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted July 1, 2014 Posted July 1, 2014 Can someone tell me if it's Beer O'Clock yet? it was happy hour a long time ago. lol
over500 Verified Member Posted July 1, 2014 Posted July 1, 2014 hit and run with Gose at the plate and Francisco at first. Genius.

Does no one else remember all his great sac bunts and bunt hits this year? I swear I only remember one bad one. And as I type this he fails one.
Convo Verified Member Posted July 1, 2014 Posted July 1, 2014 hit and run with Gose at the plate and Francisco at first. Genius. Seriously, pretty stupid call there.
Inklink Old-Timey Member Posted July 1, 2014 Posted July 1, 2014 How the hell is this an acceptable ad on a family broadcast?

o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted July 1, 2014 Posted July 1, 2014 Seriously, pretty stupid call there. Gose swing miss and bunt miss numbers are ridiculous. Fransisco is probably the only jays with worse contact numbers. Gose sucks at offense.

intentional wok Old-Timey Member Posted July 1, 2014 Posted July 1, 2014 Holy s***, guys. Both the players and the production crew botched that inning.
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted July 1, 2014 Posted July 1, 2014 Definitely a surprising call by Gibby Gibbons has to try to force things because the lineup has struggled. If Reyes and Melky were hot, he probably doesn't play hit and run.
pickoff22 Verified Member Posted July 1, 2014 Posted July 1, 2014 So I wasn't watching live - was that infield hit legitimately an error? They can change the ruling mid-game if so. I remember the Mets appealed an infield hit once after the game once, though it was quickly denied.
Convo Verified Member Posted July 1, 2014 Posted July 1, 2014 Well I guess we can breathe a sigh of relief that was a solid enough hit
Inklink Old-Timey Member Posted July 1, 2014 Posted July 1, 2014 OK at least now the no hitter didn't hinge on a Reyes throw.
pickoff22 Verified Member Posted July 1, 2014 Posted July 1, 2014 and it doesn't matter anyways...........
Governator Community Moderator Posted July 1, 2014 Posted July 1, 2014 Hutch deserves a brew for every K after the game today.
Atothe Old-Timey Member Posted July 1, 2014 Posted July 1, 2014 Well I guess we can breathe a sigh of relief that was a solid enough hit that first hit will be changed to an error now
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted July 1, 2014 Posted July 1, 2014 I think Roger Clemens, might be 18 I just checked. You were correct on both counts.
Convo Verified Member Posted July 1, 2014 Posted July 1, 2014 OK at least now the no hitter didn't hinge on a Reyes throw. and it doesn't matter anyways........... But you can't say how the events of time-space might of changed if Reyes makes that play.
S33n Verified Member Posted July 1, 2014 Posted July 1, 2014 that first hit will be changed to an error now How many errors until AA realizes Reyes it a 2nd basemen?
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted July 1, 2014 Posted July 1, 2014 How many errors until AA realizes Reyes it a 2nd basemen? Will he blow fewer plays at 2B? Are fewer balls hit to 2B than SS? (Honestly don't know re #2 but obviously that stat is probably well known)
Governator Community Moderator Posted July 1, 2014 Posted July 1, 2014 That's just what good hitters do.
Convo Verified Member Posted July 1, 2014 Posted July 1, 2014 Damn might of got him with a better throw from Kawa
