No. Red Sox won last year, so Selig and co. are dying for the Yankees to be back there. MLB is a business that's full of umps who are untouchable. Jays stand 0 chance.

whether the Jays are or aren't a beastly team, they should still be in the race just for the fact that no others team in the division is really looking like a runaway either.

I still believe we are a 500 team. We got hot and rode EE for a month but we are closer to being a 500 team than the team that played in May.

The question is whether or not the jays can improve from playing their current .500 level ball. The Yanks and O's are on a hot streak right now but as soon as they slump we might be back up by more than 1 or 2 games in the division if we can start being a bit more consistent. Lots more ball left to play this year for every team in the division, people.
