I racked up about a 1000 in a week and a touch before I got banned, racked up another 500 and then the first new board started, we went there for a while then we came here before JaysCountry killed us all

Many high volume posters like BTS, angrioter, Spanky, me, boxy, Juiced/admin, ECJF, Chappy, Hurl, Wilko were all there. Could probably list a dozen more if I thought long enough.

I started lurking on that old board right around the time there was a guy who had multiple accounts and would have conversations with himself haha. I believe that was right near the end though

I had an MLB.com account for their s***** fantasy ball, and despite the fact that I looked for an active Jays forum for a while, both the official Jays forum and Real GM had layouts that were way too messy for me. Maybe that's a preference I developed along the way of moderating and being an active part of several established gaming/sports forums, but I can't stand a bad forum layout. Especially the "old board" I have no idea where the hell they got that jurassic formatting, but there wasn't even a proper quote function. Beyond that, everytime I tried to check out that forum, I never got the impression that it was very active, but from what everyone here says, I guess I missed something. Had I known how active it was, I might have bit the bullet, but I guess I caught a lucky break because I never met any of the famous trolls from that board.

 

I had more than 10K+ posts on PSD before coming here though, which was arguably at times a bigger cesspool than any other forum I've seen, excluding what goes on in the GDTs here.

The whole dogg talking to himself on the forum was going on for years. I joined that forum back in 2003ish and rumour has it he was doing it well before that.

I suspect that he orignal "dogg" stopped and some random realized and just ran with it. But if it was the same guy maybe he had a mental illness or somethin. Maybe somethin like that Matt Harvey guy.
