From the article

And it mentioned Lind not ever having a Bobblehead day. Maybe Rogers is too cheap to buy bobbleheads with kick ass goatees.... But he's a guy who deserves one. Quietly having a great offensive year.

A reporter inside the Blue Jays clubhouse casually asked Adam Lind if he remembers his Bobblehead Day.

“I haven’t had one,” said the longest-serving Jays position player on this year’s team.

“I mean, I don’t think I’ve had one,” he added with a laugh. “Because if I did, I’d have it at home.”

The Jays have held Bobblehead Days for stars like Roy Halladay and Roberto Alomar and relative newcomers like R.A. Dickey, as well as for guys like Yunel Escobar and J.P. Arencibia. But not Lind.

Apparently there was a mini Adam Lind Bobblehead some years back, but not the real thing. Not that Lind is complaining.

“I mean, I’m not the most exciting player on this team,” he said, again with his trademark laid back, mid-western chortle. “I don’t even play every day. I don’t make the most money. I platoon now.”

I think we should make it out mission to have a Lind Bobblehead day.

He had a Bobblehead day a few years ago. I have it. It's him batting.

Over 43K went to the game last year for JPA bobblehead day. That's a true story.

That makes me quiver

After reading the same article, my friends and I have created a Facebook and Twitter page to attempt to get Lind his own bobblehead day. Hopefully together we can create enough buzz to get this noticed and eventually make it happen! Check us out!!

We started the Facebook page yesterday actually. We read the article yesterday morning and went to the game. As soon as we got home we created it! I found this by accident when googling to discover how accessible our pages were. So I thought I had to let you guys know we were thinking the same thing so I registered just to post the links

Suggestion for a slogan: C'mon! He'd totally give YOU a bobblehead day!

I think what you did was good - hope it takes off and becomes successful.

Lind has been given a good whipping on here in the past but part of the problem was with management not identifying the proper role for him. He is a team player, loyal, and seems to possess a down to earth personality. I also agree with him in that he could play as a regular on another team although not at a great performance level. I truly wish him success.
