Are you vouching that they should only go for HRs again? 'Cause all 6 runs were due to HRs.

And fundamentals defensively too.

 

So what? They were facing a very good pitcher is Shields, the offence did well considering. Oh and yeah let's work on fundamentals on a fluke throw. Did you watch the defence last night?

I don't know fatcow, I think our offence is done. That 1 game losing streak likely crippled this team for good.

 

We haven't hit a homerun in like 4 or 5 innings, I'm getting worried.

Nevermind; there were fundamental flaws last game, and one early on in this game. If those are acceptable because this team has gone through a 9 game winning streak and scored 6 runs in a losing streak, then so be it. I am just not blind to accept that any MLB team that wants to contend is happy about small things that need to happen but don't because everyone is caught up in the big things.

 

In other news, Happ is doing really well.

Reyes had 2 bad plays last night. Offense was almost all Ed and Joey bats.

 

it was an ugly game and the game before was not pretty either. the win on a error was a lot of luck and the pen would have been hard pressed if it went to extras.

 

it's not that they lost, it's 2 games in a row that were not very well played. this team has to do all the little things well every game of the year... I'm not saying the sky is falling. I just want to see them play sound baseball which they have not done for 2 games.

Every team has bad games. I'm not trying to say the Jays are the best fundamentally because they are not, but they lose 1 game and all of a sudden let's look at all the mistakes. This team has gone on a streak that not one of us could have imagined, the complaining just boggles the mind.
