What about Melky getting picked off right before the Edwin homer? Score would have been 7-5 and that run in the 9th wouldn't have mattered.

So many ragers. Relax guys, it's one game. Yes, brutal way to end it but Reyes adds more than he gives up, so asking to bench him is a little derp.

 

His defence has been worse than what his bat brings to the lineup so far this season. Hes been Jeter bad defensively.

Angel Hernandez is an awful umpire. A guy is bunting at a ball and gets hit, never pulling the bunt back. That is a textbook strike.

 

He's been brutal all game, just pathetic..

It's so s***** to end a streak on a game you should have won...

 

they won games they should have lost... it's all part of baseball.

Since the Fire AA thread get deleted, I guess I'll just do my rant in here instead.

 

Fire AA for wasting a fluke year from our bullpen in a lost season at the trade deadline last year. We're now stuck with a bunch of scrubs regressing to the mean in our pen when we could have had assets for them last year.

 

Fire AA for doing absolutely nothing all offseason to address the pitching situation despite lying repeatedly to the fans that he would.

 

The streak was fun and all, but I'm still not buying this team. We still need a starter and some decent relievers, but we all know AA will do nothing but sit on his fat ass and twiddle his thumbs while somehow keeping his job.
