Convo Verified Member Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 Defensively, this game was as good of a clinic as you'll ever see on the field. Complete 180 to last year. Boni boots that ball to Lawrie all day. Melky doesn't make his catch. Rasmus doesn't make Gose's catch. I don't think there was a single play that should of been made that wasn't, and there were a few plays that SHOULDN'T have been made but were.
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 What did you just do? Ex-f***ing-actly. Unbelievable, some of us are working so hard at reversing all the jinxing that's going on, but it's ok, one day we'll get our due credit.
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 Gibby looks like a kid on Xmas even at his presser. He looks so happy.
Candy Maldonado Old-Timey Member Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 "Joey Bats was a skinny infielder..." and now he's a skinny outfielder? It's not like he's some bulky guy with a giant roid head... Nor is it like Encarnacion looks any different than he did when he got given away on waivers... Good lord... Well you can train for strength and not size. Braun is slim and he juiced.
kgm1 Verified Member Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 LOL , Just thinking about the end of that game . We never hit an HR this game and we walk it off with a BUNT. First walk off bunt I have watched in a long time.

ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 Gose reminds me of Colby f***ing Rasmus on interviews and he's actually got a southern accent to boot. He's just got a dull personality, that's the sense I get.
Solaxys Old-Timey Member Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 Someone .gif that superman pillar dive!

He's just got a dull personality, that's the sense I get. I get the sense that Gose is just extremely sarcastic to the point where he just doesn't care what he says. Like when he talked about Hendriks... "he's going to throw strikes, and get guys out".
Atothe Old-Timey Member Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 Is that Stoeten? nah random devil rays fan, supposed represent BTS's fandom
jerb Verified Member Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 I don't think Gose was rude in his interview. He just gave quick short answers. He's probably not comfortable being interviewed on camera.
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 Sucks to be a Rays fan this year f*** Rays "fans". Great young team and nobody shows up. I hope they move that team.

Like when he talked about Hendriks... "he's going to throw strikes, and get guys out". Could be. I just think it's a personality issue. I just don't think he's comfortable enough in front of the camera and mike to be sarcastic, at least not on purpose.

Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 Please go to the game if you can tomorrow! 9 game win streak, there should be more than 17k in the stands!!

I remember hearing he was really cocky a few years back so that's why I'm thinking he's just a sarcastic jerk. But who knows, he's clearly not exciting at interviews and luckily the player he will be sort of competing with is equally as bad lol
BigCecil Old-Timey Member Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 Just caught the end...amazing. When its going good....everything is dropping our way. Hats off to the Jays. Some incredible clutch D today and our arms battled.
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 Sucks to be a Rays fan this year Fortunately, there aren't many of 'em!
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 Easy there, did you see this empty rogers centre Two things.. it's a weekday series, and it's the RAYS. Nobody wants to see the Rays. Of course, outside of the Yankees, Red Sox and Tigers, road attendances are weak in the AL. Most of the fans prefer to watch NL teams such as the Giants, Cubs and Dodgers. Just be glad we're not Cleveland.. nobody wants to see that team at home or on the road.
