Time to dump Trout, maybe

Insanity.  Milk whatever healthy games he has and stash him on the DL when he’s hurt.

Depends on how many IL spots you have. The dude's other four OF all rank higher in redraft right now

Sure but if anyone is worthy of a DL spot it’s Trout.  I’m also assuming this is a redraft league and not dynasty.  A healthy year from Trout (yes asking too much) is absolutely elite.

Hey, in my points dynasty league, I have 5 OFs. Judge, Soto, Alvarez, Trout, and Carroll. So one player would be on the bench throughout the season. I have Bregman at 3rd. I would love to get a younger player at 3rd. Would you do Carroll for Caminero in this situation? Or stick with the team i have?

Two-team dynasty is an interesting format.

Ever think about playing in a 30 team dynasty?

Probably Strahm.

Yeah only guy really standing in his way for saves is Romano and his health/effectiveness is in question. Strahm likely would be next in line or worst case is their top setup option so he should provide elite ratios + holds.

Yates is 38 and it will be tough passing Scott and others in the BP for saves.

Hendriks is intriguing still and has looked great so far this spring, but Chapman in the fold along with Slaten makes the situation more complicated.

So do what you have to do, it's that simple, meat.

Looking for a ranking for these players in my dynasty points league.  The options I have is Burns, Dollander, Basallo, Eldridge, Wetherholt, Condon, and Emmauel Rodriguez. I'm looking for the highest upside. Is there any in this group that could be a star?

I don't think so. I've heard that he is passive to a fault and the swing has some holes in it.

I am expecting a similar translation as Edouard Julien!

Depends who you listen to. He chased 10% of the time and swung at 70% of pitches in the heart of the zone with elite exit velos

Big bump in OBP leagues

Of course this is all moot because you own two shares of Basallo and I have one of Rodriguez

Basallo is the one with holes in his swing.  I haven't seen that said of E-Rod

E-Rod might be over selective but that is far better than the alternative

Why is Colt Emerson ranked so high on lists? His production isn't overly impressive.

He dealt with injuries for much of 2024.  Then was healthy for AFL and had an OPS of .970.  As an 18 yr old playing against guys 3 to 4 yrs older.

Age / level is important.  He will likely play most of 2025 at AA as a 19 yr old.  Power is expected to come as he gets older and stronger.

Depends on whether you're competing or rebuilding.

Basallo or Burns. Basallo is Devers with C eligibility for a few years, Burns looks like a future ace. Dollander will be a fantasy stud when he gets traded to LAD or STL.

I like Eldridge but SF is where fantasy offence goes to die, Condon has contact issues, same with EmmRod. Wetherholt is a bit Jeterish! Inside out swing, contact over power profile.

This is what I used to think about Lindor and Seager. Age/level and contact rates are everything. The power will come. The K rate spike is a bit concerning but it’s been a very cold spring and he’s like 2 years young for his level.

Which Seager did you use to think this about? Because Corey always raked in the minors with the power to show for it. The question on him was always if he was too big for SS, and maybe some strikeout concerns but given the age those were always kind of silly.

Cam Smith or Marcelo Mayer in a dynasty league?

Industry valuations might still have Mayer ahead, especially due to him being a SS, but wouldn't blame you for preferring Smith.
