Laika Community Moderator Posted December 1, 2023 Posted December 1, 2023 I am keeping Trout if I am in win now mode I think you can do better than just Jordan Walker. Would prefer a better prospect. But would probably trade Trout for one elite prospect. Walker has some mild warts. Kelenic vibes. Eloy vibes.

Frenchsoup Verified Member Posted December 2, 2023 Posted December 2, 2023 yeah hes quite valuable in dynasty
Jimcanuck Old-Timey Member Posted December 6, 2023 Posted December 6, 2023 Off board league I have Trout, and Chourio on the farm. With Trout now made of glass and value declining, would you trade 32 yr old Trout for 22 yr old Jordan Walker? BA top 50 dynasty provides the answer: 39. Jordan Walker, OF — Walker hit .276/.342/.445 with 16 home runs and seven stolen bases over 117 games as a rookie despite taking a month-long detour in Triple-A. Walker has a high batting average floor, improving approach and plus-plus power he’s still learning to get to consistently in games. Walker could develop into one of the top hitters in fantasy if he takes another step forward in the coming years. 43. Mike Trout, OF — Once the universal top pick in dynasty drafts for the better part of a decade, Trout is now 32 years old and hasn’t played more than 140 games in a season since 2016. Trout doesn’t run any longer but his power and hitting ability should allow him to be productive into his 30s if his health permits.
connorp Old-Timey Member Posted December 6, 2023 Posted December 6, 2023 #43 for Trout is kinda harsh. I guess you can justify it by looking at his health issues as degenerative, which could be the case.

Jimcanuck Old-Timey Member Posted December 11, 2023 Posted December 11, 2023 Ohtani or Judge for 2024 and beyond? edit - nvm its clearly Ohtani
BTS Community Moderator Posted December 11, 2023 Posted December 11, 2023 Ohtani or Judge for 2024 and beyond? edit - nvm its clearly Ohtani I think even with the arm injury, the only players above Ohtani in dynasty are Acuna, Soto, J-Rod, and Carroll.
Laika Community Moderator Posted December 11, 2023 Posted December 11, 2023 I think even with the arm injury, the only players above Ohtani in dynasty are Acuna, Soto, J-Rod, and Carroll. Not even sure if those guys are
BTS Community Moderator Posted December 11, 2023 Posted December 11, 2023 Not even sure if those guys are I have all four about as valuable as hitter Ohtani in the short term, especially given that the two lesser hitters have CF eligibility. So it’s a question of whether I value pitcher Ohtani more than the 4-6 year age gap. After two TJS I’ll just take the younger elite hitter.
Frenchsoup Verified Member Posted December 12, 2023 Posted December 12, 2023 I really think Adames will have a big year wether it's in Milwaukee/ Toronto/ Dodgers/ or mystery team.
jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted December 14, 2023 Posted December 14, 2023 I really think Adames will have a big year wether it's in Milwaukee/ Toronto/ Dodgers/ or mystery team. Yeah it's a free agent year and he does have some serious pop. If he goes out and hits 35+ HR's, along with a 5-6 WAR season, likely could get Semien money as a free agent.
