Fact is J-Rod is a prospect. A very good one, ranked 3rd by some lists. Know who else was ranked that high? Giolito. Only difference is J-Rod has yet to play above A+, and Giolito has been the 9th most valuable pitcher in the MLB since the beginning of 2019.

Gavin Lux and Jo Adell were also #2/3 recently and they probably wouldnt land you a premium player right about now

Probably not. And this shows the more likely outcome for J-Rod.

Not taking into account positional eligibility. Dynasty H2H- Scoring cats- H, R, 1b, 2b, 3b, HR, RBI, SB, AVG, OBP, SLG

I have been pondering this and going back and forth on it for a while now.. I own Trey.

Trey Mancini or Mitch Haniger???

Thanks in advance!

Seems like a total push. Age is even pretty close and Mancini's health risks going forward are also washed out by Haniger's injury risks.

Haniger for me but its close. I could maybe be persuaded to choose Mancini if it looked like he might retain OF eligibility, but that isn't likely happening.

Adley Rutschman or Alex Kirilloff?

Adley is a Catcher but Kiriloff has some injury and plate discipline issues which are a little concerning. Probably a toss up right?

No, I'd take Kiriloff for sure.

You guys won’t be saying Krilloff when Rutschman is putting up prime Posey numbers.

15 homers and 80 ribs, boring. Catchers suck

In a 14 team dynasty would you guys trade Musgrove, a Top 3 MiLB pick in next years draft and Adley Rutschman for Yelich? Pitching is slightly favored in this league

Is Yelich past his prime already? Maybe...

I need help. I'm in a 12 team Dynasty league. Just started this year. I missed out on the current top players at the time (Soto, Tatis, Acuna, etc). So I decided to make my first pick Beiber (hope he's not going to suffer from the banning of the sticky stuff). And since I missed out on the top position players I decided to take Franco with my second pick. I was lucky enough to grab Guerrero with my third pick. The fourth was Yordan Alvarez. Then I decided to take Kelenic as the 5th and Torkelson at the 6th. They projected much better than the other positional players that were selected. I say this to let you know, this year is out for me to win since I selected so many prospects.

I don't even think I will have a competitive team next year. I hope I could make the playoffs. The year after I hope to be a favorite.

Just a note, this is a points league. I can only protect 20 players after this season.

This my team:

Untouchables: Bieber, Franco, Guerrero, Kelenic, Torkelson, CJ Abrams, Brujan, Dustin May, Clevinger, Strasburg, Yordan Alvarez, McCullers, Freddy Perlata, Moreno, Dylan Carlson, Semein

Want to keep but would move: Adell, Verlander, Joey Bart, Sean Murphy

The leftover: Heaney, Stripling, Nate Lowe, Hampson, Mclannahan, Corbin, Suarez

Interesting prospects: Matt Manning, Max Meyer, Pearson, Emerson Hancock, Woods Richardson. Thomas

So I have 16 in the wouldn't move tier, I would need to protect 4 more players. What order would you rank them. Like I said, it's a points league.

Also, I DID get an offer to trade Strasburg for Grayson Rodriquez, Patino, and Marsh or Casas. Would you keep Stras or make that deal? Is there a player there that is close to a sure thing? And if you wouldn't. Is there a pitcher there you would trade Sean Murphy for? The guy doesn't have a good C.

I'd move Stras in a NY minute for that get. Keep Murph or move him or Bart for a good SP. You drafted very well for years to come. Well done aside from taking a pitcher first. Also keep McClanahan, future TOR SP.

There is my incredibly rough, one minute ranking of your players. The bolded names count up to 20.

In deep keeper leagues with a specific keeper amount, you need to tailor everything to optimize your top 20 through the cutdown. Yes, you probably should trade some of these older guys if you can, but the ultimate goal needs to be consolidating multiple pieces into clear keeper upgrades.

Strasburg for Grayson + Patino + Casas would be a f***ing steal and you should do it immediately, but then you still have work to do because you may not be able to fit Casas into your top 20. You should try to do your own 2-for-1 and 3-for-1 trades to push every bit of value you can into your top 20. Package Clevinger with two good prospects you don't love (say Joey Bart and Nate Pearson) for one rock solid keeper, for example. Identify the prospects you could live without and try to package them up for young core players. You could compete as soon as 2022 if you can convert some of those flimsy prospects into bankable production, because your nucleus seems very good.

Also, I have Moreno as well. Keep him or Murphy.

Final question for now. How would you rank the pitching prospects in order: Pearson, Meyer, Manning, Patino, Mclannahan, and Grayson Rodriquez.
