That's really dumb of the FO.

 

Even if they view him as the 3rd best Catcher, that's not how they should see it. They should see him as a much needed platoon partner for Lind. The fact that he can play C is only a bonus that shouldn't be looked at as a detriment because we already have 2 Catchers on the roster.

 

Which the doesn't need to be... Thole is superfluous since Kratz can catch the Knuckleball, and been if they wants to keep Thole, Kratz is better at everything related to the catching position than Navarro, but...since Navarro was AA's big FA splash and Kratz has options.... The best player is in Buffalo.

 

Yes Navarro is better than having JPA, but Kratz is far superior to Navarro

AA seems to like making pointless moves, it makes him feel like he's 'doing something'.

 

I'm liking the fact Alex is slowing things down.

 

I'm hoping he's not calling up Pillar, Gose & Mastro to keep giving them regular AB's in AAA, with the intention of moving Cabrera & Rasmus in separate deals for prospect packages.

 

Then, bring the trio up to man LF & CF with a 4thOF spot depending on the match up of the night.

 

Same applies to John Stilson, keep him in Buffalo and try move a RP for a B-/C prospect.

Yeah, the same Anthony Gose that's 40% better on offense than Ryan Goins :)

0.240 avg with speed would be a vast improvement over the crap that is rasmus and his 0.200 avg with the most strikeouts in the AL. Also, the last time I checked Gose is hitting 0.241 in 111 mlb games. Gose>>>>>>>> Rasmus

Nope! But this Fan boy thing for Gose i do not get! Why is he a better option Then Mastro right now? Not a platoon option with colby, cant hit, and runs into way to many outs! so much of his game and this game he needs to figure out, i just see his development time best severed right where he is. Not as limited bit added to the MLB team and alex's spinning wheel of players!
