Caper Verified Member Posted May 9, 2014 Posted May 9, 2014 Please somebody post that picture of that nerdy skinny kid dancing in the roger center stands...... I need to see it.
Convo Verified Member Posted May 9, 2014 Posted May 9, 2014 If Francisco can keep going with the bat at a reasonable pace and play a passable 3rd base, I think I'm on board with moving Lawrie to 2nd. Defensively I don't like it, offensively I love it.
Jonzo Verified Member Posted May 9, 2014 Posted May 9, 2014 Yeah I don't know... I'd rather have stellar D at 3rd... To avoid lots of extra base hits.
S33n Verified Member Posted May 9, 2014 Posted May 9, 2014 Can't exactly remove Juan from the lineup right now though.
saskjayfan Old-Timey Member Posted May 9, 2014 Posted May 9, 2014 Francisco >>> Lawrie if Francisco is going to continue be a plus .850 OPS guy....Francisco at 3rd and lawrie at 2nd is better than lawrie at third and whoever plays second against right handers

reedjohnsonfan Verified Member Posted May 9, 2014 Posted May 9, 2014 Can't exactly remove Juan from the lineup right now though. It's starting to change from a "maybe we'll try this" to a "we should try this" situation. Francisco is hitting out of his mind but he does have a nice approach and plenty of pop. How do you bench him?
closetjaysfan Verified Member Posted May 9, 2014 Posted May 9, 2014 if Francisco is going to continue be a plus .850 OPS guy....Francisco at 3rd and lawrie at 2nd is better than lawrie at third and whoever plays second against right handers With the shift, traditional position playing is obsolete anyway

BigBounceyBlueBalls Old-Timey Member Posted May 9, 2014 Posted May 9, 2014 Let it Roll boys! Let the Bodies hit the Floor! Yup see some pitchers developing the "bluejay flu" rather then face this team! Cough cough! And we get Lawrie back yet too! Just f***ing wow!
