The @BlueJays have activated 1B ADAM LIND from the 15-day DL and have optioned RHP CHAD JENKINS to @BuffaloBisons (AAA)

 

No surprise here. Nice to see we're back to a full bench. Now to see what happens when Casey Janssen returns this weekend/early next week. And Chad Jenkins wasn't pitching much here anyway, especially as the starters are going deeper.

Lindo stands no chance tonight. I benched A.J in the DDL so he is bound to be lights out tonight.

I don't understand how this team with good conscience won't put Navarro on the DL.

 

The guy is a defensive liability, he is hurt right now, and any offensive output you get from him is currently being overshadowed by the other two catchers.

 

It doesn't hurt to put him on the DL.

Yeah but he is not 100%. Why risk making the injury worse and slowly the healing process. He could have had a double yesterday but he settled for a single. How many times is that going to come up before he is fully healed?

 

It doesn't hurt to put him on the DL.

I think Navarro should also be on the DL considering he's playing hurt and we have 3 catchers. Just roll with Thole & Kratz for a couple of weeks and bring up Gose. A much better bench anyway.
