Convo Verified Member Posted May 2, 2014 Posted May 2, 2014 get the hell outta here you pessimist lol I think given the trends lately he's actually being realistic.
wardhenke1 Verified Member Posted May 2, 2014 Posted May 2, 2014 try again, troller Jose Reyes .184, $16m this season, $22m for 3 more seasons, 30 years old, long history of injuries. http://www.thestar.com/sports/bluejays/2014/04/04/body_of_evidence_sheds_light_on_jose_reyes_and_injury_risks.html Adeiny Hechavarria .282, $2.2m this season, 25 years old. Troller? f*** you and the horse....

Troller? f*** you and the horse.... you're really f***ing dumb, batting avg really???? look at their careers. Reyes is way better and likely will be this year. GTFO!
Convo Verified Member Posted May 2, 2014 Posted May 2, 2014 People can we stop f***ing arguing - the Jays are up and they have the bases loaded with nobody out!
saskjayfan Old-Timey Member Posted May 2, 2014 Posted May 2, 2014 Lawrie is good again he's definitely staying on the ball longer.....nice to see his average over .200
saskjayfan Old-Timey Member Posted May 2, 2014 Posted May 2, 2014 People can we stop f***ing arguing - the Jays are up and they have the bases loaded with nobody out! here here...I'm using this pitching change to get myself a beer....let's go blue jays!
frizzer1 Verified Member Posted May 2, 2014 Posted May 2, 2014 you're really f***ing dumb, batting avg really???? look at their careers. Reyes is way better and likely will be this year. GTFO! Of course reyes is better....but the fear is that he may never be the player they thought they were getting...but then again neither were Johnson,Dickey,Boni... etc etc etc... etc..
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted May 2, 2014 Posted May 2, 2014 By the end of the season those numbers are likely be swapped. Sweet, we'll be able to pay Reyes $2.2M this year?
Governator Community Moderator Posted May 2, 2014 Posted May 2, 2014 Every time I hear "Rogers Blue Jays Baseball" I can't help but hum to myself "Labatt's Blue Jays Baseball.... brought to you by Labatt Blue!" Anyone else? If you not, you will now lol.

My point exactly f***wit. Reyes is constantly injured and is not getting any younger; Hechavarria is young and on the upswing. Reye's career may be entering it's later declining stages, Hechavarria the opposite. I know which one I would choose right now and our astroturf is not going to do Reyes any favours in the long run either.
guylaroche5 Verified Member Posted May 2, 2014 Posted May 2, 2014 alright, time to kill off this game early and have ishmael mop it up
Convo Verified Member Posted May 2, 2014 Posted May 2, 2014 In one game, Anthony Gose has provided more value than Sierra provided in an entire month.

Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted May 2, 2014 Posted May 2, 2014 That's some clownshoes D right there, but go speed!
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted May 2, 2014 Posted May 2, 2014 Not the best baserunning there on both plays by Gose. Still better than Sierra though!
havok24 Old-Timey Member Posted May 2, 2014 Posted May 2, 2014 Already has done more in one game than Sierra has done in his entire career.
