So is Spittin tanking? He's had 3 guys IR eligible, and a DTD eligible and hasn't done squat, this was supposed to be his sport and we were all in trouble, 4 weeks in DGAF!!!

My top end is incredible but my goalies are dicey and my attention to lineup-setting is poor.

Yeah, my team has been weird the last few weeks too. I'm not feeling too good about the first round of the playoffs myself.

He's not s*** he just can't score. Still an elite playdriver and offensive player. Probably a combination of having a bad shot and bad shooting luck. Also, 29 years old is getting up there if you consider NHL players on average peak at 24.

Can't be an elite offensive player if you can't score. Looks like he is a playmaker whose defense has fallen off a cliff. Like a DH who can only hit singles.

 

Very glad I dumped him on TCA for Schenn and Doughty.

True on the first sentence. It could just be unlucky though. I think I read he's shooting like 3% over the past couple of seasons..

 

I don't think he's s*** however and is a tweak/regression to the mean away from being perceived as good again. I mean there's clearly some reason for optimism in those numbers.

 

Some team would be wise to lock him up for a discounted multi year extension and probably comes out looking good on it.

Oh I'm very happy with the trade as a B's fan. Gave up nothing for the guy too.

Yeah, I needed the starts tonight and Sunday from the Kings, speaking of which, King was hammered by Covid early in the season, he most likely would've made the playoffs as well, Covid suxxxxxxxx
