Faaack, don't smoke drugs, kids. Was looking for a redflag and forgot to check the stats.

A warning. Since there were no stats accumulated. If he would have started him tonight would be loss of draft pick(s). No matter if it was a good or bad start.

Also, it's draft pick(s)... see above. Phew... :P

No I mean when can they be added. Is there a specific time after their first game, etc.

Also if players 24 and older can't be prospect drafted are they just free agents all the time?

First come first serve it looks like in op, for the second question, yes. We have to change a bunch of rules next year.

Unowned players who have never played an NHL game and have participated in the NHL draft or have a contract with a professional team are eligible to be drafted. Players who are of 24 years of age at the beginning of the prospect draft will be Waiver Draft eligible, and won't be allowed to be taken in the prospect draft.

None of my players are playing today! Our matchup is going to look really lopsided for a few days.

Yeah saw that, Farabee's killing it, but he's in my minors. :P

Just scored now too, he's going to be a stud fellas! 4 Pts...

Stinky Poop beat me to Subban, as I see he's starting. That speaks volumes.

Yikes, or not.

I only picked him up because I have the other Chicago goalie. One of them might be okay. Subban probably sucks

BTS... how'd Johnson get in your Minors roster? Anyhow, drop him or swap him bro.

He was waived by TB and put on the restricted list for a game.

What are the rules on that? Did I break a rule by moving down?

Did we ever get clarification on the rules now that we are on fantrax? I assumed it worked like our baseball leagues that if a player has a eligible flag they can be moved to the minors?

Well, we aren't supposed to be moving to a true dynasty till next season, in which we'll likely use a similar time frame to call a player back like we did in LOD. As of now we just call up players from the minors for promotion and they can't be sent back down, I'll check with TCA or his posts for confirmation? I wouldn't say a rule was broken, there should be some sort of timeline of days or games I'd assume.

There's a few things that need to be tightened up going into next year, both votes passed for No Cutdown and Additional Minor slots. IIRC.

It probably makes sense to allow players to be freely moved back and forth (aslong as they have a flag). Less work for the God Comishes to try and monitor everyone. Just my 2 cents

For this offseason yes.

We'll need to discuss some items after our drafts this year. Like maybe no cutdown in 2021, and just having the 1 draft a NPD, and not having a prospect threshold. Similar rules that the baseball leagues adopted.

This is all I could find, so I'd just swap him BTS before his next game which would be Tuesday.

NVM: I see you have already.

We've already passed the changes for No Cutdown and 2 expanded Minor Slots.

Probably just need some minor league rules like the LOD:

2.2 Minor League Rosters

2.2.1 There is a max of 15 minor league players. This limit can never be exceeded.

2.2.2 Players are eligible for the minor league roster if they are currently in the minor leagues.

2.2.3 Players can be moved from the major league roster to the minor league roster (demoted) if the player is currently in the minor leagues. Another minor league player may have to be dropped before a demotion can occur to keep the roster at 15 or less.

2.2.4 Players that have have been previously demoted (2.2.3) and are back in the major leagues in real life, are required to be added to the Major League roster (recalled) within 14 days of their first MLB game since their demotion. Players that are not recalled within 14 days will be dropped to the free agent pool. There will be no such restrictions on roster composition after August 31st.

...

2.2.6 Prospects that are called up to the MLB and play in an MLB game have to be added to your MLB roster (promoted) by the beginning of the following season.

Our minimum goalie starts is 3, but this was a short week , it's(Fantrax) supposed to be pro-rated on short and long weeks. Should I adjust it to 2 for this week just in case? Yes, I had only 2 starts, so no need to point at that, many teams are in this boat, what say you guys TCA and JG34??? I think we should.

ETA: After checking in on this; 6 owners are impacted, nearly half the league. I'll change the min to 2 games for this past week, I don't want to deal with the f***ery if it comes up.

I think 2 for the short week is fine. But should be 3 moving forward.

Something like this could probably work. Except I'm thinking the force recall should only come into effect after they've appeared in a certain number of NHL games. Instead of just any previous call-up/demotion. Something like after 60 games played this rule would come into effect. Or I'm also thinking something similar to the other baseball leagues where if they're on your minor league roster they can stay there for however long you want, that way there's no policing needed.

Godammit King... I should've read the rules...

Unowned prospects that have not played in the NHL cannot be added to NHL rosters on Yahoo. If such players are called up in real life, then they can be added in Yahoo as soon as a news source confirms that they have been called up by their parent club.
