o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted April 12, 2014 Posted April 12, 2014 Sergio Santos about to be investigated by the NSA, that's just not fair. NSA??? nasty stuff association?
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted April 12, 2014 Posted April 12, 2014 The back end of our pen isn't even fair Janssen, Santos, Cecil, Delabar. In a playoff game, you can effectively lock it up if you have the lead through 5.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 12, 2014 Posted April 12, 2014 NSA??? nasty stuff association? US National Security Agency? Was the joke not clear?

kgm1 Verified Member Posted April 12, 2014 Posted April 12, 2014 It's absolutely filthy. Santos,s slider is unhittable by this game was all about Dusty,s first win in almost 6 years . I just Have to feel great for the guy.
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted April 12, 2014 Posted April 12, 2014 That was an ugly win. We didn't deserve it. But i'll take it.
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted April 12, 2014 Posted April 12, 2014 That was an ugly win. We didn't deserve it. But i'll take it. O's deserved it even less than we did so the right team still won. at least that's what I'm tellin myself lol

P2F Old-Timey Member Posted April 12, 2014 Posted April 12, 2014 Two or three days ago, I think. I've been coveting a spot in this club for a while now, so it feels really good for the day to finally arrive!

I tried to send you a PM earlier and didn't realize you'd changed your name and was so confused when your user wasn't a valid name

ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted April 12, 2014 Posted April 12, 2014 Well that is kind of true lol. I could see him losing it and hurting someone. The fact that he doesn't let his offensive struggles affect his defensive game seems to contradict this.
JohnnyLonghorn Verified Member Posted April 12, 2014 Posted April 12, 2014 Abysmal offensive performance tonight but good teams find ways to win when the bats aren't hot. If we can still get this type of pitching when our bats come around look out.
Chappy Community Moderator Posted April 12, 2014 Posted April 12, 2014 Santos,s slider is unhittable by this game was all about Dusty,s first win in almost 6 years . I just Have to feel great for the guy. Yeah Ken, it was great to see. It's not realistic to count on him for the entire season but if he keeps giving us starts like this one, take them while we can.
saskjayfan Old-Timey Member Posted April 12, 2014 Posted April 12, 2014 That was an ugly win. We didn't deserve it. But i'll take it. The orioles didn't deserve it either...the difference was defense. Last year it was the Jays making the errors losing close games...this year they are playing good defense and winning the close game. McGowan was good, bit of luck, but still good. Cecil and Santos were utterly dominant. The orioles had no chance. We should relish in the fact that our starting pitching is much improved over last year and our bullpen that was good last year can be a difference maker this year.
BigBounceyBlueBalls Old-Timey Member Posted April 12, 2014 Posted April 12, 2014 Gentlemen... I give you Dustin McGowan, McCecil and McSantos the McNasty Brothers!
flafson Verified Member Posted April 12, 2014 Posted April 12, 2014 Did you guys see Chris Davis strikeout/throw the bat at the pitcher? I just couldn't stop laughing.

I like seeing a bunch of guys racking up hits, don't get me wrong. But the fact that we can also win games with pitching and defense? It's great. There was precious little of that sort of thing last year.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted April 12, 2014 Posted April 12, 2014 Gentlemen... I give you Dustin McGowan, McCecil and McSantos the McNasty Brothers! You're making me McHungry But yeah what a performance by those three. I watched the end of the game on the Orioles feed - they were mighty impressed by our pitching.
