Solaxys Old-Timey Member Posted April 5, 2014 Posted April 5, 2014 Where's AnemicOffense? It's about time he chimed in lol.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 5, 2014 Posted April 5, 2014 Fatcow don't you dare mention the condition of the board! You're like the ultimate jinxer for these kinds of things.
Doc Verified Member Posted April 5, 2014 Posted April 5, 2014 Seems like Gardner and Cervelli are always burning us, I swear ever since Gardner hit that slam off RR they pitch around him.
NorthOf49 Old-Timey Member Posted April 5, 2014 Posted April 5, 2014 Dickey's balls are dancing today
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted April 5, 2014 Posted April 5, 2014 Any team would have done it given the ambiguity of the rule. It just sucks that one of the most exciting plays on baseball is now going to go to video review far more often than it should. In no way did anything in that play even resemble something that should be illegal, and yet it was a 5-minute ordeal. Yankees broadcasters were saying that Ellsbury was actually save on the play.
BigBounceyBlueBalls Old-Timey Member Posted April 5, 2014 Posted April 5, 2014 Good Dickey is Good ! Can we keep him !
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted April 5, 2014 Posted April 5, 2014 When we see the blue jays hire better broadcasters and stop showing the crowd at games, we will know they're moving in the right direction as an org.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 5, 2014 Posted April 5, 2014 Agreed but playing the wrong positions. Bautista 1B and Rasmus LF Just stop, you clearly don't have a clue.
Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted April 5, 2014 Posted April 5, 2014 That is the worst commercial I've ever seen
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted April 5, 2014 Posted April 5, 2014 Dickey and Pineda f***ing my Fantasy
NorthOf49 Old-Timey Member Posted April 5, 2014 Posted April 5, 2014 When we see the blue jays hire better broadcasters and stop showing the crowd at games, we will know they're moving in the right direction as an org. That's why I watch the opposition feeds
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted April 5, 2014 Posted April 5, 2014 That's why I watch the away feeds And why I mute the broadcast.
Flamingweazel Verified Member Posted April 5, 2014 Posted April 5, 2014 Just stop, you clearly don't have a clue. You sound like a major loser lol.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 5, 2014 Posted April 5, 2014 Good enough for who? You? How long have you been watching baseball for? By metrics and even the simple "eye test" Rasmus is an above average CF, and last year he was top tier.
Doc Verified Member Posted April 5, 2014 Posted April 5, 2014 Guys that are supposed to hit need to start hitting, how is Lawrie ever going to win a gold glove if he can't hit...Sarcasm.
Flamingweazel Verified Member Posted April 5, 2014 Posted April 5, 2014 This offense has been bad, looks like last years sleep inducing offense in April.
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted April 5, 2014 Posted April 5, 2014 Since when is a weak dribbler to short a hot shot? BUCKism
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 5, 2014 Posted April 5, 2014 Sorry that I want to see our club improve. The fact that you disagree that they wouldn't be more successful in those spots makes me question if you have a clue. How could you disagree with Rasmus in LF it actually blows my mind. So you want to move Bautista to 1st right now? Not like we already have 2 1B and a DH on the bench or anything. I want you to answer me this, who would be the alternative to Rasmus in CF? Obviously it's Gose but seeing as though Gose struggles to hit pitching you'd be downgrading the overall value out of the CF position. And if Rasmus moves to LF, where the f*** does Melky Cabrera play? Changing positions doesn't automatically make you a better player, because of positional value, if Rasmus moves from CF to LF we lose value, and the same can be said for Bautista.
BigBounceyBlueBalls Old-Timey Member Posted April 5, 2014 Posted April 5, 2014 Lansing up 5-0 in the third, thon with a grand slam!
