I think the admins have done a really great job so far. I still lurk on the old forum from time to time and its just terrible. They still have a small group of decent posters but they seem to think that this board is very elitist and puts down anyone with a different opinion. Personally, I've really enjoyed the new board and feel like the core group has a great deal of knowledge.

I felt that perhaps if Ricciardi was given one more year, he would have been able to be successful. It was during his Era that Jays landed both Bautista and Encarnacion, and I always felt that he hit a patch of bad luck with both Marcum and Mcgowan going down at the same time. A lot of people forget that Jays had the second best pitching team in 2008. I hope he gets another chance at being the General Manager

 

Can Goins stick?

 

I do not think that young major league ball players should be brought up if they cannot handle major league pitching. Defensive specialist is an old mans game.

FYI: As the Assistant GM to Ricciardi it was AA who asked for JP Ricciardi blessing to get Joey Bats. As for Edwin, he was the price he had to pay to get the 2 prospects (who flamed out). JP didn't want Edwin, but took him on so he could get Stewart + Josh.
