Love this. Team SP ERA with Navarro catching is like 0.0000000. Hurray for small sample size!

 

But seriously it's like night and day. Probably the best game Buehlre has pitched as a Jay. I was not that excited about the Navarro signing but I must admit if these 2 games are any indication of things, the catcher spot is a massive improvement not just a slight improvement through addition by subtraction.

 

It will be interesting to see how big of a difference it is compared to last year.

Coming into the series I liked our chances best with the Archer/ Morrow match up. A split would suffice just fine but I want this year to be difference.

Its clear we have some great talent. It just pisses me off more and more AA did f***ing nothing to improve this team. Pretty much setting them up to fail.

 

When our depth continues to get tested we are going to struggle.

You're right, we just haven't replaced what Davis brought to the team.

I think Gose is a way better than Sierra and probably more valuable than Davis. At least you know your getting really solid defence and a cannon with Gose as well as great speed for late game pinch running situations. Gose >>> Rajai especially when you factor in their salaries.

We have a ton of hard throwing 'stuff' guys in our system. We don't have a dominant base stealing threat...not sure if we have any SB threats at all??
