Option status?

Minor league contract?

I don't see any reason for Francisco to get anything more than a minor league deal. Maybe we see him for a bit if Sierra and Lind get hurt at the same time, or something like that.

He's fine for Buffalo, Lawrie/Lind backup

lol

Francisco is 1B...................He's like Thames at 3B

.776 career OPS against RHP. If he's versatile, nothing wrong with this.

Plays 1B, 3B like EE and LF lol

I like him, lots of raw power and a similar story to EE... I wonder if we can turn him into (if anything) a home run machine vs RHP

Edit: Here's an old thread I made on the old forum on this guy.... oh the memories :P http://www.forums.mlb.com/n/pfx/forum.aspx?nav=messages&webtag=ml-bluejays&tid=82691

The next EE perhaps. He's not an ideal player, but his power potential is worth taking a chance on. He's still only 26 I believe, so there isn't any harm in this.

.252/.312/.464 against righties plays in the right situation, but I don't see how he fits in here.

So AA has a weird obsession with relievers and people with the name Francisco.

this guy is a 1b/3b who can't get on base 33% of time vs righties, not a good choice unless lind gets hurt
