Atothe Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 First game? He's been pitching all spring and they pumped him up as throwing 95/96 all spring. Hutch should be fine this year, but we need him to be better than that. Obviously it is disappointing to see him throwing 90-92 instead of 93-96. its not disappointing when he's getting the results he's getting
Jimcanuck Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 Jennings looking goooooood. Banhammer time
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 Jennings looking goooooood. Yep. We know.
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2014 Author Posted April 2, 2014 Who says he never threw 95 in Spring? Maybe the Tampa gun is slow, and Hutch has pitched a good game even without having to throw up to 96 all game. Yeah could be a hot gun HUTCH YOU BEAUT <33333333333333
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 Banhammer time No, it was humorous picture time.

The MPH should creep up a bit after 4-5 more starts.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 And ends it with a nice slider. Good job Drew.

The gun may not be accurate either (seemed a little low last night to me). Not to mention velocity is not as important as everything else he's doing.

Hutchison would have a better chance at a better season throwing 93-96 with control than 90-92 with control. I won't say any more on the subject though, it's a happy day.
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 Damn, anyone here have family in Chile? s*** that sucks :/ they say they are lucky, it was offshore and really deep. tsunami will do more damage than quake.
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2014 Author Posted April 2, 2014 So that was KKKK and he's still on 71 pitches. He's got at least 1 more inning before turning the ball over
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 f***, I kinda like Diaz now. Takes balls to smile after something like that when you're not a pompous assface like Bonifacio. Especially in your second game. Like with every Jays player, hope he succeeds, even though there's a high chance he won't. Plus he made the next play smooth as hell right after almost botching that one #respect
GD Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 You've just fallen victim to Johnny Mac syndrome. The withdrawal process can be hard but there are a lot of great programs out there to help. It helps knowing I have support. Thanks man, it's gonna be a tough road but I can do it!
Grant77 Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 Damn, anyone here have family in Chile? s*** that sucks :/ My dad is in Peru, said he's never experienced anything like it, but there wasn't any real damage.
Jimcanuck Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 I actually don't want Hutch hitting 96 on the FB.... his stuff is good enough he doesn't need to try to blow it past them and wreck his arm
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 Goddamn, that Hutchison kid is pretty good. That's why I was rocking his avatar on the old board. I'd put it back but I don't want to ECJF-it.
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2014 Author Posted April 2, 2014 Goddamn, that Hutchison kid is pretty good. Better than that Cobb kid! they say they are lucky, it was offshore and really deep. tsunami will do more damage than quake. Thank god man, s*** I hate natural disasters f***
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2014 Author Posted April 2, 2014 lol Heath Bell on?? Can we shell him please and thank you?
Atothe Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 Whoever drafted Kershaw must drinking a tall glass of knokout, out 2-3 more weeks. That sucks

vic city Verified Member Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 Hutch has a chance to be our best home grown pitcher since Doc. I know we didn't draft Drabek but I really hope he turns things around as well.
