jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 And a walk for Lawrie. And BTW, hopefully Houston is clobbering Brooklyn in that NBA game for the Raptors sake.
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2014 Author Posted April 2, 2014 f*** I'd say bunt Goins but Diaz is worse. IF hit and run works man

Convo Verified Member Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 Maddon thinks he's soooooooooo smart.... and it's probably true
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 f*** I'd say bunt Goins but Diaz is worse. IF hit and run works man 0 reason to bunt in this situation.
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 Put the hit and run on here. Let's go Goins.
Convo Verified Member Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 Joe Maddon.... look what I can do, look what I can do http://hrringleader.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/11/stuart-2.jpg
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 0 reason to bunt in this situation. No s***, bunting is usually stupid regardless but you'd certainly never do it with 1 out
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2014 Author Posted April 2, 2014 0 reason to bunt in this situation. I meant if Melky was next you would bunt
Laika Community Moderator Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 Hutch vs. Cobb is such an interesting matchup. A year from now, could we be thinking about Hutch the way people thought about Cobb going into 2013? I guess that's kind of the best case scenario, but I can definitely see it happening (Hutch looking like an underrated #3 type with even more in his skillset going into 2015).
Jimcanuck Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 good at bat by Goins.... good contact
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 Better to bunt with no outs. Now, let's see what Diaz can do..
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 good at bat by Goins.... good contact "Productive out"

They are very comparable pitchers IMO. Not overpowering stuff, rely mostly on fastball command and offspeed, deceptive delivery.
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 Ahhh that's a little low.
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2014 Author Posted April 2, 2014 Diaz has a great Eye Cobb up to 71 pitches near 4 innings... great job!
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 Cobb does NOT want to face Melky this inning
Convo Verified Member Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 Didn't realize Diaz never had a big league hit... dat color commentating
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 couple of nice pitches from Cobb.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 I meant if Melky was next you would bunt You never force someone to hit with 2 outs, even if it was Melky you'd still just be giving an out away, unless the batter was the pitcher or something.
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 Didn't realize Diaz never had a big league hit... dat color commentating but he has a world series ring.
Atothe Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 Diaz having another good at bat, are these the same jays? Beautiful job
Grant77 Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 They are very comparable pitchers IMO. Not overpowering stuff, rely mostly on fastball command and offspeed, deceptive delivery. I don't find Hutchison particularly deceptive.
