no soup for yu Verified Member Posted March 29, 2014 Posted March 29, 2014 so far rivera has been consistently awful at sending runners when he shouldn't
awsomest Verified Member Posted March 29, 2014 Posted March 29, 2014 god could you imagine a vintage lind at 5 and a vintage melky at 2 hnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnng
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted March 29, 2014 Posted March 29, 2014 man morrow is looking really good...finally What a relief. Hopefully he has turned it on now with the season starting.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted March 29, 2014 Posted March 29, 2014 Lind to opposite.. nice! I don't understand the theory playing a shift on Lind,he goes oppo all the time. At least pitch him inside if you are though. Dice K is dumb..
saskjayfan Old-Timey Member Posted March 29, 2014 Posted March 29, 2014 god could you imagine a vintage lind at 5 and a vintage melky at 2 hnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnng as good as lindy was last year, it looks like his mental approach to hitting is just getting better..I think he's going to be even better this year.
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted March 29, 2014 Posted March 29, 2014 Navarro is such a breath of fresh air
Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted March 29, 2014 Posted March 29, 2014 If Navarro can put together a decent season at the plate...
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted March 29, 2014 Posted March 29, 2014 I don't understand the theory playing a shift on Lind,he goes oppo all the time. At least pitch him inside if you are though. Dice K is dumb.. Their scouting report is outdated, they still have team manager listed as Cito Gaston.
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted March 29, 2014 Posted March 29, 2014 If Navarro can put together a decent season at the plate... His BA will be better than Arencibia's OBP
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted March 29, 2014 Posted March 29, 2014 Their scouting report is outdated, they still have team manager listed as Cito Gaston. Lol.. The funny thing also is during his 2009 Silver Slugger year,he was mashing oppo steady.
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted March 29, 2014 Posted March 29, 2014 Watch Matsuzaka pitch great this year and AA trade Sanchez and Stroman for him next off season.
Sammy225 Old-Timey Member Posted March 29, 2014 Posted March 29, 2014 This looks like the 2012 Brandon Morrow lets hope he stays healthy and stay like this.
jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted March 29, 2014 Posted March 29, 2014 Nice Morrow! Man, how nice would it be if this rotation strikes lightning in a bottle with Mcgowan, Morrow and Hutch.
Doc Verified Member Posted March 29, 2014 Posted March 29, 2014 Man Morrow can be so good sometimes just wish he can finally put it all together we could really use it.
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted March 29, 2014 Posted March 29, 2014 Man Morrow can be so good sometimes just wish he can finally put it all together we could really use it. If he has a 2012-type season, it would be huge.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted March 29, 2014 Posted March 29, 2014 I don't think I've ever seen all 3 players involved in a pitch know it's a strikeout except for the umpire. Someone needs to .gif that.
bronson44 Verified Member Posted March 29, 2014 Posted March 29, 2014 Sierra just struck out 3 times in one at bat
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted March 29, 2014 Posted March 29, 2014 Goins crushing the ball, please keep it going into the season...
Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted March 29, 2014 Posted March 29, 2014 Reyes hasn't looked that great, but I'm not worried.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted March 29, 2014 Posted March 29, 2014 Reyes hasn't looked that great, but I'm not worried. Yeah, no worries.
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted March 29, 2014 Posted March 29, 2014 Reyes hasn't looked that great, but I'm not worried. Yeah he might take a couple weeks to get going, but I have no doubt he will be hitting just fine by mid-April
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted March 29, 2014 Posted March 29, 2014 I don't understand the theory playing a shift on Lind,he goes oppo all the time. At least pitch him inside if you are though. Dice K is dumb.. Usually when Lind goes opposite field, it's a fly ball or line drive I believe. I wasn't paying attention today, but generally teams shift on the infield and play straight up in the outfield against him.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted March 29, 2014 Posted March 29, 2014 Great AB by Goins I honestly believe he will for the most part give us decent AB's like the two today and should get better as he plays more. Knowing that you're playing everyday should also provide a comfort level, results are remain to be seen. I like his overall approach, especially for a nine man.
saskjayfan Old-Timey Member Posted March 29, 2014 Posted March 29, 2014 well that outing was a sight for sore eyes...way to go morrow

gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted March 29, 2014 Posted March 29, 2014 Nice fine tuning start from Morrow today. Man, i'm feeling a tingling of optimism now.
