Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted March 29, 2014 Posted March 29, 2014 Finally the last spring training game!!! Hopefully nobody gets injured today. Just a reminder. Picking now open for the home run contest, don't forget to make your pick before Monday's game! http://www.bluejaysmessageboard.com/threads/2147-Blue-Jays-Home-Run-Contest-2014
jayswin11 Verified Member Posted March 29, 2014 Posted March 29, 2014 Can't wait until Monday. ...also can't believe I just said that.
Candy Maldonado Old-Timey Member Posted March 29, 2014 Posted March 29, 2014 How is it the same one? Wasn't McGowan sick like 3 weeks ago?
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted March 29, 2014 Posted March 29, 2014 Meh its alright. Im not worried about a stomach illness. Even if Jose has to miss a couple games in Tampa it wont be so bad.
Horses Fart Old-Timey Member Posted March 29, 2014 Posted March 29, 2014 Here we go....lets see how Morrow looks today vs a Mets team.
Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted March 29, 2014 Posted March 29, 2014 How long do stomach bugs tend to last?
jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted March 29, 2014 Posted March 29, 2014 How long do stomach bugs tend to last? 3-5 days. I would assume he will be okay to go for the opener though. I would expect he would play even if he's feeling a little under the weather.
GD Old-Timey Member Posted March 29, 2014 Posted March 29, 2014 How is it the same one? Wasn't McGowan sick like 3 weeks ago? It can very easily be the same one
LunchBox Verified Member Posted March 29, 2014 Posted March 29, 2014 If Stephen Drew is too costly, can they at least get some Purell dispensers in the clubhouse?
GD Old-Timey Member Posted March 29, 2014 Posted March 29, 2014 I've never had problems after 2 days. jesus christ what dark magic do you practice
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted March 29, 2014 Author Posted March 29, 2014 jesus christ what dark magic do you practice Our draft is in an hour right?
NorthOf49 Old-Timey Member Posted March 29, 2014 Posted March 29, 2014 Our draft is in an hour right? Yes. Just finished pre-ranking.
jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted March 29, 2014 Posted March 29, 2014 What kind of flu do you get. Its a 1-2 day thing. I've never had problems after 2 days. http://www.netdoctor.co.uk/diseases/facts/influenza.htm I googled it "Usually, influenza lasts three to five days. If it goes on for more than a week or if the symptoms are very severe, you are advised to consult your doctor."
NorthOf49 Old-Timey Member Posted March 29, 2014 Posted March 29, 2014 Morrow is the only thing I'm really paying attention to in this game. And I like what I see (although it'd be much more helpful if they showed velo).
jayswin11 Verified Member Posted March 29, 2014 Posted March 29, 2014 How is it the same one? Wasn't McGowan sick like 3 weeks ago? Stomach bug = Went out in Montreal last night, partied too hard at the strip club and now has a hangover. A little poutine and smoked meat sandwich today and he'll be right as rain by Monday.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted March 29, 2014 Posted March 29, 2014 Morrow is the only thing I'm really paying attention to in this game. And I like what I see (although it'd be much more helpful if they showed velo). Good movement on all his pitches and commanding the fastball. K's the side! Nasty stuff.
jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted March 29, 2014 Posted March 29, 2014 Nice to see Brandon KKK with a runner on base.

Like how he looked out of the stretch which was his problem last game.
