G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted March 28, 2014 Posted March 28, 2014 Didn't realize how good Redmond's K/BB was this spring. He will get some starts this year
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted March 28, 2014 Posted March 28, 2014 Good to see 1. Reyes At the top
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted March 28, 2014 Posted March 28, 2014 Oh and they're playing him at short! BTW, I still can't believe we have Jose Reyes
Sammy225 Old-Timey Member Posted March 28, 2014 Posted March 28, 2014 Oh and they're playing him at short! BTW, I still can't believe we have Jose Reyes I am kinda happy that TDA is playing
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted March 28, 2014 Posted March 28, 2014 I am kinda happy that TDA is playing Me too. Broken down bust of a prospect that he is.
Sammy225 Old-Timey Member Posted March 28, 2014 Posted March 28, 2014 Me too. Broken down bust of a prospect that he is. I think he will be a league average catcher. Won't loose you games and will win you a few.
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted March 28, 2014 Posted March 28, 2014 I thought they would hold Reyes out just because of the turf to be that super extra cautious... but I guess if he's okay and ready, just throw him out there and hope it goes okay.
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted March 28, 2014 Posted March 28, 2014 Good to see 1. Reyes At the top hope to God he is healthy before and after this game. Jays are SO much better with him in the lineup.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted March 28, 2014 Posted March 28, 2014 hope to God he is healthy before and after this game. Jays are SO much better with him in the lineup. This lineup is killer when it's all healthy
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted March 28, 2014 Posted March 28, 2014 Thanks to all the work done, the ballpark looks nice (outside of the ugly turf). They could probably host an MLB team right now if they got the ownership and a team.. but still, Montreal needs a new stadium. Hey, at least they're closer than Tampa in thinking about a new stadium.. the Rays have continued to piddle around.. and now hopes of a new stadium in Tampa are in jeopardy, especially considering there are other projects St. Pete needs to allocate revenue towards: http://www.tampabay.com/opinion/editorials/editorial-time-running-out-on-rays-deal/2172466
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted March 28, 2014 Posted March 28, 2014 Will watch the first few pitches and then proceed to switch over to the Raps game.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted March 28, 2014 Posted March 28, 2014 Agreed. Like in Washington, the minute Montreal decides to build a new stadium to open within 1-2 years, MLB should push for relocation of either the Oakland A's(they're never getting to San Jose due to the Giants) or Tampa Bay Rays.
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted March 28, 2014 Author Posted March 28, 2014 Will watch the first few pitches and then proceed to switch over to the Raps game. 3rd in the East, 1 game is the magic number right?
vdartanian Verified Member Posted March 28, 2014 Posted March 28, 2014 Cool that they are doing this, but that stadium really is a huge shithole; and an awful place to watch baseball, but they used to have some great players back then. Used to go out to Montreal each summer in the early 90's and would catch a few games a year. Moises Alou was my hero! Funny thing never saw the Expos lose in that stadium, they were 9-0 when I attended in person.
Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted March 28, 2014 Posted March 28, 2014 All starting at 7 Sportsnet 360 - Blue Jays Sportsnet ONE - Toronto Raptors Sprtsnet ONTARIO - Maple Leafs lol
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted March 28, 2014 Posted March 28, 2014 Will watch the first few pitches and then proceed to switch over to the Raps game. What the f*** is wrong with you
HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted March 28, 2014 Posted March 28, 2014 did they boo the US national anthem?
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted March 28, 2014 Posted March 28, 2014 Rays is our best chance. Athletics are staying in Northern California. And there isn't even a good chance of that. I'd place it around a 10% likelihood of happening.
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted March 28, 2014 Posted March 28, 2014 did they boo the US national anthem? Not that I heard
Chappy Community Moderator Posted March 28, 2014 Posted March 28, 2014 I'm pumped! Having a couple beers and headed over soon! I grabbed some beers, watching the game at home tonight. Excited that our entire lineup will be on display tonight.
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted March 28, 2014 Author Posted March 28, 2014 Lots of Expos merch in the seats, great to see the city hasn't forgotten the team after 10 years!

fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted March 28, 2014 Author Posted March 28, 2014 My MLB.tv stream seems f***ed up from time to time lol I hope they get this fixed.... I'm amped for this although its a ST game lol. It does, however, give us a solid look at the team
Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted March 28, 2014 Posted March 28, 2014 I would have been ok with opening the season here like this. Feels like this game should count. I would be okay with this.
