G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted March 28, 2014 Posted March 28, 2014 86 And just miss a wildcard spot
Anemic0ffense Verified Member Posted March 28, 2014 Posted March 28, 2014 83. Just enough to save AA's job. Just enough for the casuals to buy into the excuses.
Olerud363 Old-Timey Member Posted March 28, 2014 Posted March 28, 2014 I'll go with 83. Monday morning i'll compile all of these instead of doing work. 82 Since 1993 I see five distinct templates. 1. Have some big names including last years Cy Young Winner and are lookin' sweet but crash and burn completely and astonishingly. 95, 97, 2004, 2013 2. Almost win 90 but any time they get within 3 of the wild card have a bad week so were never really in it. 1998, 2003, 2006, 2008, 3. Win between 75-85 without anything to memorable happening. 1999, 2001, 2005, 2007, 2011. 4. Win about 75 with a manager controversey. 1996, 2009, 2012 5. Win 85 and Cito gets the boys to pull 250 into the seats. 2000, 2010 I vote for 3!
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted March 28, 2014 Posted March 28, 2014 I'll take 91. I think they will have better luck with health and the offense will make up for many of the bad starts that come. pen will be killer all year, so if they can get ahead they should take it home.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted March 28, 2014 Posted March 28, 2014 85 just because nobody said it and it is going to be between 80-90 Damnit! I was going to say just about the same thing. Oh well, put me down for 85 as well.
Sammy225 Old-Timey Member Posted March 28, 2014 Posted March 28, 2014 Damnit! I was going to say just about the same thing. Oh well, put me down for 85 as well. f*** you
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted March 28, 2014 Posted March 28, 2014 I didn't know we were sharing slots.... everything between 78 and 90 was pretty much taken... no way I see them under 78. So I'll stick with my plus side and hope for the best.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted March 28, 2014 Posted March 28, 2014 83. No way the pitching can be worse than 2013..
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted March 28, 2014 Posted March 28, 2014 I was going to say 83 but I can't pick the same wise number as Ang, so I'll go with 82.

eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted March 28, 2014 Posted March 28, 2014 Bob McCown just compared Hutchison to Roy Halladay on PTS... So 100 wins!
Chappy Community Moderator Posted March 28, 2014 Posted March 28, 2014 92. I know it's a ridiculous long shot, but who gives a f***.
