TDotttt2005 Verified Member Posted March 26, 2014 Posted March 26, 2014 He wouldn't be an improvement. He would just be more minor league "depth" at this point, where there really isnt a need.

o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted March 26, 2014 Posted March 26, 2014 I'd rather have Redmond/Rogers. Redmond, Rogers, Stroman... Bedard instead of Happ would be exchanging one bad option for a worse one.
GD Old-Timey Member Posted March 26, 2014 Posted March 26, 2014 Not sure this was thread worthy, could have gone in the OD roster thread. Bedard would be nice on an MLC, and has some nice upside, but I doubt he outperforms Redmond. Regardless, could be a nice swingman or great depth in Buffalo.
wilko Old-Timey Member Posted March 26, 2014 Posted March 26, 2014 What's Javier Vazquez up to these days?
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted March 26, 2014 Posted March 26, 2014 Absolutely nothing worng with Bedard on a minor league deal. He'll probably sign with a National League team though.

jayswin11 Verified Member Posted March 26, 2014 Posted March 26, 2014 Rogers needs to be in pen, not a starter
jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted March 26, 2014 Posted March 26, 2014 I'd rather have Redmond/Rogers. Bedard > Redmond & Rogers
wilko Old-Timey Member Posted March 26, 2014 Posted March 26, 2014 Bedard > Redmond & Rogers If only 2007 Bedard was still alive. Sadly, he's dead.
