Depending on what the turn is like in Montreal (I assume they updated it) I don't know if I would have him playing their even if he is good enough to go. Just have in in AAA games. But great news that this is not very serious. Sounds like he should be ready for Monday.

they def changed to a "better turf", they usually play cfl and impact games at the o.

Does not really matter he is going to be playing on Turf come Monday 2 days is not going to be the difference between the f***ing 60 day DL and being healthy lol. A wee bit of an over reaction.

i wouldn't be playing him tonight or tomorrow, problem is this team is so bloody desperate to get off to a good start that they will play him at all costs

That, with the cold weather, would be stupid to play him at short.

 

I would say he is more likely to strain something running down the first baseline then fielding IMO I could be wrong I don't want to say but if there is no inflammation and no pain whether he starts today or Monday really makes no difference.
