#BlueJays sign RHP Radhames Liz to minor league deal. He led Korean majors with 188 strikeouts last year, according to @MyKBO

 

Interesting.. oh and he had a 3.06 ERA in the KBO last year with a 1.09 WHIP.

This could be a good low risk signing if it pans out. He'll likely go to Buffalo..

I like signings like this. Probably won't amount to much, but he's proven to be effective in a professional capacity and there's no downside or risk, more or less. Hopefully he'll work out well and help out at some point.

Looks like low BB will be a key for him. He really struggled with that in the minors and briefly in the majors. Hopefully he has that sorted out.

I was all for them signing Shirek last year who's younger, a true GB guy and had minor league success here. Liz was a former top 100 prospect...and AA loves those. No risk, probably no reward here. O's asked Liz to be a reliever where he could have probably thrived...but those f***in' Dominicans are stubborn
