Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted March 7, 2014 Posted March 7, 2014 Small guy and "Downplane" Sanchez is the man....Throw strikes f***!!
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted March 7, 2014 Posted March 7, 2014 Goins error, costs Stroman a run. Myers destroyed that ball. Fat Greek "Stroman had a high ERA, he's not ready yet"
BabbaGanoush Verified Member Posted March 7, 2014 Posted March 7, 2014 No movement on Stromans fastball today. Rays crushing it.
havok24 Old-Timey Member Posted March 7, 2014 Posted March 7, 2014 LOL Romero's first pitch makes it halfway to home. Lol
Jays Verified Member Posted March 7, 2014 Posted March 7, 2014 Lol Maicer. Goes to 2nd for the easy out and throws it in the dirt. He threw it about as far as he can hit it.
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted March 7, 2014 Posted March 7, 2014 RickyRo looked great against A-ball hitter lol
Jays Verified Member Posted March 7, 2014 Posted March 7, 2014 IDK if it was just me but Ricky looked terrible still. Ball all over the place, hitters chasing garbage.
aselvana Verified Member Posted March 7, 2014 Posted March 7, 2014 he was keeping the ball low majority of the time. that one curveball/breakingball made me tingle in my pants
glory Old-Timey Member Posted March 7, 2014 Posted March 7, 2014 2009-11 Romero would completely change my opinion of the Jays rotation. No pressure, Ricky.
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted March 7, 2014 Author Posted March 7, 2014 Son homer for his father haha
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted March 7, 2014 Posted March 7, 2014 Yep, Redmond has value. I guess DFAing him would be classified as bad assett management. LOL..
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted March 7, 2014 Posted March 7, 2014 Lol Maicer. Goes to 2nd for the easy out and throws it in the dirt. Funny on how you had him ahead of Goins on your depth chart.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted March 7, 2014 Posted March 7, 2014 He does have value. He'd work well in a park like AT&T since he's a fly ball pitcher. Not really, he gets hit hard.
saskjayfan Old-Timey Member Posted March 7, 2014 Posted March 7, 2014 IDK if it was just me but Ricky looked terrible still. Ball all over the place, hitters chasing garbage. Tricky Ricky is looking okay to me....still has velocity...lots of movement in his pitches...battling command...but he's taking baby steps forward. 3 innings, 3 strike outs, 3 walks, 1 hit no runs allowed.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted March 7, 2014 Posted March 7, 2014 And your point is? They're both s***. My point is I'd rather play the sweeter smelling s*** that can play defense. Stop relying so much on projections when assessing talent and watch the f***ing game.
glory Old-Timey Member Posted March 7, 2014 Posted March 7, 2014 Hopefully Romero is given a real shot at winning a rotation spot. Everyone else in contention looks like absolute crap this Spring (except for Hutchison....who should be in AAA anyway).
ace3113 Verified Member Posted March 7, 2014 Posted March 7, 2014 How did Nate Karns look? I'm curious about this also. Very nice under the radar pickup by Friedman and company. What the heck was Washington thinking. lol
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted March 7, 2014 Posted March 7, 2014 Wow. This situation is completely bizarre. He gets angry every single time Goins is mentioned. It's starting to become clear to me that Gruber92 = Goins or relative/friend of Goins. Probably butt buddies or something. Stfu squirrel and put your money where your mouth is. Pussy.
saskjayfan Old-Timey Member Posted March 7, 2014 Posted March 7, 2014 then you suck but your defense is fantastic
ace3113 Verified Member Posted March 7, 2014 Posted March 7, 2014 Friedman is on record saying he thinks Karns can be a reliable 200-inning starter, and the minor league numbers are very good. They spent a month negotiating with Washington for this guy, and moved three assets for him. I'm really looking forward to seeing what they found. This and the Hanigan trade I really like for them.
TheHurl Site Manager Posted March 8, 2014 Posted March 8, 2014 This and the Hanigan trade I really like for them. I heard their head office calls him Molinagan.
