G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted February 20, 2014 Posted February 20, 2014 I didn't give a s*** about this (in fact I almost wanted to block @JoeyBats19 because he was spamming it so much last week, LOL) But now he's up against Derek Jeter and it's close. I think I'll actually vote for him. Who's on it? -
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted February 20, 2014 Posted February 20, 2014 I voted all day; 2 different accounts
Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted February 20, 2014 Posted February 20, 2014 Not sure what this is, should I care?
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted February 20, 2014 Author Posted February 20, 2014 He has spent so much time spamming about this that I wondered if he was participating in training camp at all
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted February 20, 2014 Author Posted February 20, 2014 Not sure what this is, should I care? Probably not It's an MLB image/marketing thing Players go head to head in a polularity contest for who will be "The Face" of MLB Votto won last year
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted February 20, 2014 Author Posted February 20, 2014 Shameless spamming:
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted February 20, 2014 Posted February 20, 2014 He has spent so much time spamming about that I wondered if he was participating in training camp at all Jose doesn't manage his Twitter account 24/7.... He pay for that.
Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted February 20, 2014 Posted February 20, 2014 I don't think Jose should be the face of the MLB, in fact I believe the exact opposite lol
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted February 20, 2014 Posted February 20, 2014 f*** you Jeter Come on Jose!!!
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted February 20, 2014 Author Posted February 20, 2014 I voted all day; 2 different accounts For Jeter though right??
berenjenareturns Verified Member Posted February 20, 2014 Posted February 20, 2014 f*** you Jeter Come on Jose!!! You'll never see Jeter attention whoring himself for this ******** Lol. Jeter is the face of the MLB and is not particularly close lol
wilko Old-Timey Member Posted February 20, 2014 Posted February 20, 2014 A rageaholic winy dbag as the face of MLB? I'll say good day sir.
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted February 20, 2014 Posted February 20, 2014 f*** Jeter, Jose should win this
dineke Old-Timey Member Posted February 21, 2014 Posted February 21, 2014 Jeter is an icon while barely anyone outside of Toronto knows who Bautista is... how is this even close? Someone tell Jose to focus on playing more than 100 games instead.

dineke Old-Timey Member Posted February 21, 2014 Posted February 21, 2014 What a whore. I'm going to vote a few times for Jeter instead.
Dick_Pole Old-Timey Member Posted February 21, 2014 Posted February 21, 2014 A rageaholic winy dbag as the face of MLB? I'll say good day sir. Against a guy who is arrogant enough to announce his retirement a year ahead of time so he's got a whole season for people to pawn over him in a goodbye ceremony. I'd say a Jose vote is more of an anti-Jeter vote than pro-Bautista vote.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted February 21, 2014 Author Posted February 21, 2014 ???? What does this have to do with the Cardinals? Whoever is doing this for him tries to appeal to other fanbases who might pick up on the hashtag I find this one awkward though. I suspect most Pittburgh sports fans either don't care or wish their team hadn't traded him for PTBNL. LOL. Plus it's not even the right sport.

dineke Old-Timey Member Posted February 21, 2014 Posted February 21, 2014 Jeter has been for the last decade+,
Dick_Pole Old-Timey Member Posted February 21, 2014 Posted February 21, 2014 Neither should be. The entire #faceofmlb is foolish. I have not heard of it until today, but it looks like I already agree with you.
admin Site Manager Posted February 21, 2014 Posted February 21, 2014 That little guy we had, from the cardinals, that looks like he's 14 should be the face of MLB. What's his damn name again. Couldn't throw it to first from much further than 2B. Eckstein, he should be the face of MLB.
Fearthedoc Verified Member Posted February 21, 2014 Posted February 21, 2014 Jose is going H.A.M tonight. He's been tweeting every 2 minutes for the last 3 hours. He's including every team's twitter account and promising followbacks. He is officially whoring himself out for #FaceofMLB
flafson Verified Member Posted February 21, 2014 Posted February 21, 2014 I see no problem with that, he wants to win and it's unlikely he will get a ring with the Jays, this might be the next best thing for him.

Jeter is the face of the MLB and is not particularly close lol Uhhh, maybe a few years ago but he's not the "face of MLB" anymore, that's for sure. Bautista makes me sick, he's so f***ing petty and full of himself (and I'm considering the fact that he is a good baseball player.)
