I think what surprises most of us is that he's putting up an 82 wRC+ and still has little to no value. Personally i look at Zach Cozart who is putting up much worse offensive numbers and has way more value and this is what I expected from Hech. I posted this before but it's worth a read.

I'm a Hech fan, and I'll stick by him.

You gotta admit, you didn't expect him to hit .270.

I think he'll keep improving.

I haven't seen him at all this year, but I thought for sure this guy was a future GG.

From what I see jb2 wins, he guessed 666 ops, while baseballs guessed 660 ops.

This is as good a spot as any to report this...the Marlins are looking to extend Hech. They obviously don't believe in what the defensive metrics are saying. They are also looking to extend Fernandez, Yelich and of course Stanton.

BTS (Brian Tallet's Stache) seems to be a lightning rod for a lot of people although I never really understood why. He doesn't sugar coat his opinion but hardly anyone on here does.
