Yunel Escobar

lol maybe I'm biased and yeah we play in a s*** stadium....but Toronto is a pretty awesome city compared to some of the cities in the USA.

No kidding, who would want to play in Oakland or Missouri (KC/STL)... I would think that Toronto is a great city for young people to go to compared to much of the US

How did I forget Michigan as a whole, I don't understand how we're not loved more as a city

It's simply because many ball players are just generally really dumb people. If they hear things mentioned in the media, as ironic as it may seem given their hate of how the media warps people's perceptions, they'll cling on to it. Whether that's the over-exaggeration of how bad turf really is, whether it's the overblown "issue" of taxes or currency exchange rates, whether it's the fear of the AL East or whether it's whatever else arbitrary reason there might be. Toronto is considered to be the 4th best city to live in, in the entire world. The crime rate is hilariously low, there's limitless city life and culture, it's a top 5 media market on the continent, it's followed and exposed to a national fanbase, there's so much to like. People just don't want to take the initial plunge, but once they do, or in 95% cases are forced to by trade, players constantly rave about how much they love to play here.

Sounds like politics.

lol at calling ball players dumb for clinging to the things they hear in the media when thats what pretty much what everyone who has ever watched tv does in one way or another.

Now comes all the posts of how "thats not me"

So basically, most players are really dumb because their perceptions are shaped by the media (as if they've never been here before), but you on the other hand are so clever that you simply won't let those deceptions cloud your judgment, so instead you choose to believe what the players (who are still under contract with the club) say about the city to the media. Interesting!

You can't mindlessly shout "U!S!A! U!S!A!" while shooting a gun in the air and voting for a politician who believes the earth is 6,000 years old up here... It's the little things, y'know?

Boston should be pretty decent next year if they get back lester and sign Sandoval. Going to be interesting to see how Castillo does also.

Yes, you can. Because no one would be around you to hear you do it.

Your response is almost as brilliant as judging an entire city by the fact that they appear to support a crack fiend as their leader (except that's actually a real thing, unlike your comments).

Perhaps it's the "little things," like xenophobic Canadians carrying prejudices (and making posts like yours, as a result), which makes Toronto a less hospitable place for an American?

Yeah, try to drag me into your ******** "everyone is against me" narrative. That'll go super well for you.

They don't need to ban me, even though they will. I mean, Chappy was the guy who wouldn't admit he f***ed up when he took offense to me quoting one of Rios' infamous statements that helped drive him out of town ... But instead he chose to act like he didn't care about the right or wrong of it to save face. His judgment is compromised.

But it'd be better for the board if they banned me ... It would give everyone that feeling of awesomeness that they finally succeeded in their goal ... but I won't be posting anymore, regardless of what they do.

But I'm sure I'll be talked about and the derelict troll hunters will be searching posts for evidence of a new incarnation. RIP Moogy. RIP.

Pussy!

I didn't post in that thread anymore. Booyockashaw.

Shouldn't you be in school? Or napping? You're 12.

LOL at acting like you meant you wouldn't be posting in just that particular thread anymore.

LOL at you thinking I was being serious. Would have thought the Ninja Turtle'esque exclamation following would have made that clear. But, alas ... thinking is HARD!

Sorry Moogs, didn't waste my time as a child watching Ninja Turtles. When you're as successful as I am, there is no time to waste, even during childhood.

That was in reference to only avoiding one thread? Just admit that this forum is your only way to cope with the emptiness in your life, and that you're a spineless puss that never had any intention of "leaving" despite the fact that, yes, that's exactly what you said you would do. If the mods ban you, you'll come back with alts. Someone as insecure and unstable as you derives too much fulfilment from the kind of attention you get here, and you'll cling on to that with every thing you've got.

I also want to ask, why do you have such deep-seated issues when it comes to things like homosexuality and short people? Is it because those things hit close to home? I can't help but notice that you desperately grab every possible opportunity to make homosexual innuendos, or talk about "men in tights", or to go out of your way to constantly paint Stroman as a midget or a "standing elbow rest" as you put it. Are you a closeted little person? Because that's okay. There's no need to be ashamed.

As for the picture, I'm not even going to ask what you typed into google to find it. Some things are best left confined to the perverse imaginations of sociopaths.

Ridicules pro wrestling, makes ninja turtle references and assumes they're general knowledge to the point of being instantly recognized and understood by random people on sports forums. "Thinking is hard".

*Editor's note: image revised so as not to be insensitive by exposing Moogy's true likeness to the general public*

Wait until the condom breaks and, Candy Bags, the $10 hooker you hired for companionship, tells you you're a daddy. You'll be booyockashaw'ing in no time, with your bouncing baby boy. #thestoryoflafrentz54

Why would you hashtag on a message board?

Anyway, I got the rise out of that sick, twisted mind I was looking for. G'day, mate.
