Every couple years I remind myself how good Barry Bonds was.

 

When he was 40, he hit .362/.609/.812 1.422OPS

He had 45 home runs. He was walked 232 times that year, which is over 100 more than the next closest.

 

Even his last year, at 43 years old, he hit .276/.480 with 28HR and 3.4WAR.

In a full season he would have been close to 40HR and 4.7WAR with terrible defence. 11th in the league in slugging that year.

Yet no one was allowed to sign him the following year.

He probably could have played three more years as an above average DH.

I closed the window but pretty sure that was the 2nd longest game in dbacks history. Or something along those lines. 2nd longest game in something history

 

Wow, impressive, it just seems like it's just some random game that's still going on at 3 am, and yet it's actually historic in some way.

 

Imagine how o2cui2i would be around this time lol.

Marco Gonzales making his MLB debut tonight against the Rockies.

 

He absolutely dominated the minor leagues, struck out over a batter an inning with a walk rate at 2/9.
