Chappy Community Moderator Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 Yanks, Orioles and Rays lose. Good thing to see that no ground was made up. Red Sox still have to play but it's nice that no other team seems to be capitalizing on Jays losses. Let's hope for a good series against the Twins before heading to Baltimore.

I think that is the key this year. the rest of the AL East infact the rest of the American League is garbage this year. But its still Early. Lots of baseball left indeed.
connorp Old-Timey Member Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 By "I assume he is talking about" I was referring to ang. water under the bridge but you said that to JFAS, who quoted you saying Miggy > Trout. I didn't really think you had a troll account, I was just busting chops.
connorp Old-Timey Member Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 I wanted us to sign Ubaldo Jimenez for 3 years. I was mistaken in thinking that was a good idea Thank you AA for not signing him to a 4 year deal. And thank YOU Mr. Duquette for doing just that! Yeah I was on the bandwagon as well
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 Yeah I was on the bandwagon as well His second half last year was so tantalizing. And was a total outlier.

But its still Early. Lots of baseball left indeed. The AL East right now is 10 wins under .500 with a -67 run differential. I'm still shocked by how quickly it turned. I mean just last year the division finished with about 53 wins over .500 and a +220 run diff. or something like that.
Fearthedoc Verified Member Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 Are you sure that was after the backswing? Does the 6th inning timeframe line up with one of the atbats it happened in?
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 Maybe Machado's actions are a disgrace, but so's your beard Norris. You look like a homeless hippie.
flafson Verified Member Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 Anyone still thinks that Singleton kid not worth his contract? We really need that super computer that the Astros are using...
GD Old-Timey Member Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 Wasn't the industry consensus the exact opposite of that?
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted June 9, 2014 Posted June 9, 2014 f*** Machado... Such a puss. What a little cock sucker
Convo Verified Member Posted June 9, 2014 Posted June 9, 2014 Maybe Machado's actions are a disgrace, but so's your beard Norris. You look like a homeless hippie. Pretty lame post dude, a man should be able to grow whatever kind of beard he wants. These two things are not even remotely comparable.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted June 9, 2014 Posted June 9, 2014 Machado lost a lot of fans today after people gave him a break for trying to throw his helment at Donaldson. Even the O's broadcaster thought it was intentional. Pretty digusting act. 5-10 game suspension seems reasonable. Bat could have really hurt a player or possibly a fan. I don't know whether to hope he doesn't play against us so the tam is worse, or if he does, so that Delabar can plunk him
HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted June 9, 2014 Posted June 9, 2014 I don't know whether to hope he doesn't play against us so the tam is worse, or if he does, so that Delabar can plunk him Are you kidding me? you tell Delabar to intentionally plunk Machado, he'll end up missing so bad it'll be a strike.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted June 9, 2014 Posted June 9, 2014 Are you kidding me? you tell Delabar to intentionally plunk Machado, he'll end up missing so bad it'll be a strike. LOL I was thinking more that he's been wild enough it won't stand out But yeah you may be right...
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted June 9, 2014 Posted June 9, 2014 Also fans should do whatever they can to make sure Derek Jeter doesn't start the ASG. Ramirez is close so everyone should vote for him and let him win. Jeter making the ASG would confirm everything we think is wrong with the ASG

gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted June 9, 2014 Posted June 9, 2014 Twins bullpen got beat up today, so we are in good shape going into this series. I'm not concerned about the back to back shut outs, as the SP we faced was quality and never seen before. Expect the offense to be back in a big way versus the Twins.

This must be why they drafted so many damn relievers so early in the draft this year

G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted June 9, 2014 Posted June 9, 2014 LOL and Rajai just derped on a play he could have made. Unnecessary slide on a fly ball, resulting in an AJP ground rule double and almost got needlessly hurt. Dammit he's helping the Red Sox win though
