NorthOf49 Old-Timey Member Posted June 4, 2014 Posted June 4, 2014 Brandon Moss! The A's are so freaking good. ---- Also, Jonathan Singleton has gone deep in his debut.
Anemic0ffense Verified Member Posted June 4, 2014 Posted June 4, 2014 Moss just absolutely destroyed a baseball. 3-2 A's over Yanks in the 10th.
Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted June 4, 2014 Posted June 4, 2014 Hopefully that fan is okay.. always horrible when that happens, always reminded of that young father in texas a few years ago

NorthOf49 Old-Timey Member Posted June 4, 2014 Posted June 4, 2014 We swept them - what does that make us? Really lucky bastards! There was some kind of magic at work during that win streak.
Convo Verified Member Posted June 4, 2014 Posted June 4, 2014 Really lucky bastards! There was some kind of magic at work during that win streak. Didn't seem like luck. Magic, maybe.
RIPEXPOS Verified Member Posted June 4, 2014 Posted June 4, 2014 I think there is an argument to be made that the Jays are the best team in the AL. (cue 10 game losing streak)

flafson Verified Member Posted June 4, 2014 Posted June 4, 2014 God damn Astros are starting to pack some talent together It's not about their talent, it's about that computer they been developing that been telling them where to put their money. AA should hire some spies to steal and reverse engineer that thing.
BarkatToronto Verified Member Posted June 4, 2014 Posted June 4, 2014 Another complete game shutout for Henderson Alvarez, looking more and more like an ace.
flafson Verified Member Posted June 4, 2014 Posted June 4, 2014 Another complete game shutout for Henderson Alvarez, looking more and more like an ace. Give them back Josh and Boni for Alvarez i say.
BarkatToronto Verified Member Posted June 4, 2014 Posted June 4, 2014 Give them back Josh and Boni for Alvarez i say. of all the players traded in that deal, Alvarez will produce the highest value,
BarkatToronto Verified Member Posted June 4, 2014 Posted June 4, 2014 Yep and here is something interesting, Mark Burleh has a career war of 50. if he plays 3 to 4 more years, and pitches decently, he could have a higher career WAR than Halladay

TheHurl Site Manager Posted June 4, 2014 Posted June 4, 2014 of all the players traded in that deal, Alvarez will produce the highest value, even with his negative value so far this year he's still a little behind Yunel.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted June 4, 2014 Posted June 4, 2014 Baltimore managed to win But Yankees, Red Sox, Rays all lose Sweet!!!
Chappy Community Moderator Posted June 4, 2014 Posted June 4, 2014 At least the Red Sox have cooled off a bit which is nice to see. There the team that scares me the most right now.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted June 4, 2014 Posted June 4, 2014 (edited) Give them back Josh and Boni for Alvarez i say. My God, have any two players acquired in a trade ever s*** the bed as badly as those two did last year. Motherf***... still makes me mad. Those two (and JPA) sucked the life out of this team last year. Edited June 4, 2014 by G-Snarls

We need to keep winning at a. 600 clip Sox will climb but they're a good ways back so we need to keep ahead Yankees and Rays will take care if themselves I think Baltimore we will have to root to play spoiler every time they play Boston and New York but they look like a. 500 team
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted June 4, 2014 Posted June 4, 2014 Trying to decide if I should get to Fenway for a couple Jays games in late July. A friend wants to go. So does my son. I think I should make it happen, say what?? It's a 7 hour drive from here which is great.
