Mookie Betts* (Red Sox Prospect) currently has a 70 game on base streak going, in those 70 games he's averaged over 2 times on base per game. He has as many doubles and triples in that streak than he does strikeouts (24).

Tonight he has a chance to tie the minor league on base streak record of 71 games, set by Kevin Millar/Kevin Youkilis.

*Not trying to pimp my own player. It's a pretty amazing streak

Best prospect in baseball.

Some interesting names on there. It's crazy how well Weaver had adapted to his lack of velocity (remember, 2010 was his best year overall).

Unfortunately, unless Mookie Betts learns to play LF, he won't see Boston anytime soon, with Pedroia blocking 2B and Xander Bogaerts at SS, along with Will Middlebrooks and Gavin Cecchini at 3B.

Tons of trade bait for sure. Man I hate the Red Sox.

Not terribly surprising considering he's burning thru his pitch count in 4-5 innings on the reg and giving up a ton of gopherballs. The velo is also down 3 MPH this year, so either he's got durability issues or an underlying injury, both of which have been red flags on him in the past.

Salazar's home run problems are for real, it's hard to get away with a 33% GB rate. He hasn't been bad enough to send down though IMO.

xFIP doesn't matter when a guy like Salazar can't get out of the 5th inning in his starts. We saw Terry Francona have to heavily use his bullpen yesterday.. and they have a difficult series vs. Oakland this weekend.

I expect Bauer will be called up next time they need a starter.

Is Bauer going to be in the big league rotation now?

Francona: Bauer will be promoted Tuesday to start for Indians.

Anyone else baffled that Brian Dozier from the Twins has 10 Homeruns in 160 AB and 30 BB!!!! 12 Stolen bases too....What in the World?!

he had a good season last year, a bit surprising but he's made the necessary adjustments

Jorge De La Rosa gave up a hit to break up the no hitter, dude has stuff!

Free agent next year... The free agent group next offseason contains ALOT of quality starters.

Joey Gallo is a monster. 17 HR already. 231 wRC+ in A+.

He can also hit 99mph from the mound.

His minor numbers are impressive. That 373 BABIP won't be sustainable though.

Some minor league high BABIPs can be talent (Trout) but I doubt Gallo can keep that up. His K% down and BB% are excellent though.

They can really use that 99 mph on the mound, f*** are they struggling to keep pitchers healthy
