Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted April 8, 2014 Posted April 8, 2014 He's better suited as a reliever. Limited repertoire and reduced speed/heat for trying to save energy.
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted April 8, 2014 Posted April 8, 2014 Another terrible passed ball for JPA.
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted April 8, 2014 Posted April 8, 2014 Another terrible passed ball for JPA. He and Scheppers are ruining my fantasy
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted April 8, 2014 Posted April 8, 2014 He and Scheppers are ruining my fantasy Lol amazing wording.
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted April 8, 2014 Posted April 8, 2014 He and Scheppers are ruining my fantasy You have Arencibia on your fantasy team?
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted April 8, 2014 Posted April 8, 2014 Another terrible passed ball for JPA. I've never seen a guy get "crossed up" so often.
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted April 8, 2014 Posted April 8, 2014 You have Arencibia on your fantasy team? He might have meant sexual fantasy.
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted April 8, 2014 Posted April 8, 2014 You have Arencibia on your fantasy team? NO. I drafted Scheppers to gain HOLDS but he's starting games (He's awful as a starter). JP and his pass-balls are f***ing Scheppers and me.
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted April 8, 2014 Posted April 8, 2014 Matt Moore has still yet to be good. I think he's overrated. Stop trying to devalue your trade targets!
NorthOf49 Old-Timey Member Posted April 8, 2014 Posted April 8, 2014 Matt Moore has still yet to be good. I think he's overrated. Couldn't agree more! Doesn't have elite velocity anymore and walks a lot of guys. I expect a slight velo bounce-back this year though. He could still turn into a good #2 long-term.
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted April 8, 2014 Posted April 8, 2014 Wouldn't surprise me if the Rays traded Moore and got a haul.
Laika Community Moderator Posted April 8, 2014 Posted April 8, 2014 I had no idea that Moore was throwing so slowly. For the past year+, really.
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted April 8, 2014 Posted April 8, 2014 I'm still surprised they didn't trade Hellickson when he had a lucky ERA for two seasons. On the other hand, Moore might be cheap enough to have as a 5th starter for them so who knows. May depend on what they get for Price.
GD Old-Timey Member Posted April 8, 2014 Posted April 8, 2014 Did someone update JFaS' software to include injury projection? f***ing cyborgs taking over the world 'n s***.
Convo Verified Member Posted April 8, 2014 Posted April 8, 2014 Matt Moore has still yet to be good. I think he's overrated. And yet I'd take him over most of our pitching staff.
saskjayfan Old-Timey Member Posted April 8, 2014 Posted April 8, 2014 I called TJS, you saw it here first. You got any predictions about Lester, Buchholz, tanaka, kuroda etc...the jays could use the help..lol
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted April 8, 2014 Posted April 8, 2014 It hurts watching Omar Infante contribute for KC while we're stuck with that assclown Goins. Doesn't hurt me.
NorthOf49 Old-Timey Member Posted April 8, 2014 Posted April 8, 2014 Jordan Lyles pitching a real gem: 6 IP, 0 ER, 1 BB, 3 SO, 78 pitches. At Coors no less!
NorthOf49 Old-Timey Member Posted April 8, 2014 Posted April 8, 2014 Lyles is commanding both sides of the plate with all his pitches. Throwing strikes, getting whiffs and ground balls. Looks very comfortable out there.
GD Old-Timey Member Posted April 8, 2014 Posted April 8, 2014 Lyles is commanding both sides of the plate with all his pitches. Throwing strikes, getting whiffs and ground balls. Looks very comfortable out there. If I hear one more thing about Lyles or JR Graham I'm gonna drop kick an orphan.
Convo Verified Member Posted April 8, 2014 Posted April 8, 2014 So when does Santana pitch his first game?
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted April 8, 2014 Posted April 8, 2014 No49 is No49ing Jordan Lyles...again. He did this like all of last year.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted April 8, 2014 Posted April 8, 2014 This doesn't sound good at all. Has Tampa's amazing luck with SP health finally run out?
GD Old-Timey Member Posted April 8, 2014 Posted April 8, 2014 This is going to be tough to swallow for them. They have Price, Cobb, and Archer 1-3, but now they'll need two of Odorizzi/Romero/Karns/Colome/Hellickson to round out the rotation. Hopefully two of them can step up and contribute 1-2 WAR. I feel like Odorizzi could surprise a lot of people, and out of the rest of them one of them will certainly step up and give a win if they stream them.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted April 8, 2014 Posted April 8, 2014 What the f*** are the Bees? I like how the 2 of them talking about it but don't tell the other 198 of us who the f'n bees are.
