My trolling has leaked from the other thread, sorry lol

Exactly the type of thing I didn't feel like searching for. That article did NOT make me feel better though. That ******* needs to man up and learn to hit without his thumb.

He should 4-finger-grip it!

Game now in the 11th, 6-6 tie. Very strong bullpen by the Sox, with 13 Ks since Buchholz was removed from the game. Unfortunately, Badenhop just gave up a double to (K)hris(not Chris) Davis, and Logan Schafer just gave the Brewers the lead with another double.

K-Rod will likely be in to close out the 11th.

Here's a good reason Boston didn't want Stephen Drew back:

Xander Bogaerts

.438 AVG, 7-16, 4 BBs, 2 Ks, no HR or RBIs (yet).

Pretty good start for his young career.

KKK-ROD!!!! 1-2-3 inning to finish off the Red Sox in Fenway!

Fatcow, you really, really didn't think this through.

K-Rod threw like six change-ups and I think they all generated whiffs. That was something.

Brewers take the series!

I loved Gomes on the first pitch, he shook his head for a minute lol

If only Boston could find a leadoff guy.. Sizemore (0-4 tonight with a BB), Nava and Gomes have not been able to produce at the leadoff position, which has caused Boston's offense to suffer as a result. Don't expect them to lead in runs again like last year, unless they fix this problem.

Pretty much the opposite of the Yanks, who have production in the top and bottom of the order, but they struggle to score due to the middle of the order being garbage(Soriano, Beltran) or injured(Tex). Ellsbury is hitting, but guys like Jeter, Beltran, and Alfonso Soriano are not pulling their weight.

Might aswell slot in Bogaerts there and see how he fairs

I don't know what you guys have all said about the Yanks this offseason as I haven't been around much, but they have a pretty solid team.

Sabathia

Tanaka

Kuroda

Nova

Pineda

That's one of the best rotations in baseball.

Offense is not amazing but if guys like Beltran and McCann contribute this year, they are going to be pretty good.

Rays won again vs. Texas. That team is really good. Aren't we glad we managed a split? Texas is already in danger of getting swept, pending what happens with Yu Darvish tomorrow, vs. Alex Cobb.

Orioles are garbage, as expected from Fangraphs and PECOTA. Their pitching is pretty awful. Detroit has exposed them badly, already scoring 16 runs off of them. Outside of Tillman, their pitching has been terrible, with Norris, Gonzalez and Chen getting lit up heavily. (28 RA through 5 games)

They might have to. He'd probably be their best option, because Nava, Gomes and Sizemore(due to injury history) aren't. And Bradley's not MLB ready.

Then they are going to be pretty good lol. McCann will have bombs for days and Yankees stadium and Beltran's Mr. Consistency, he'll never age

True, but that's only IF the offense wakes up. Only McCann and Ellsbury have produced so far. And I don't expect Solarte to continue his strong performance, especially once MLB pitchers get scouting reports on him.

That Yankees rotation should actually be

Tanaka

Pineda

Kuroda

Sabathia

Nova

Sabathia is no longer an ace, and Nova is too wildly inconsistent to be considered a #3.

Still surprised they let Ellsbury walk, though it was cause 7 years on contract I get that.

Got Ellsbury up top, guaranteed .300/.350.

Garder should be good for .270/.340

Both two of the faster guys in the league.

Beltran should be a good .290/.340

Tex who knows, if he can stay healthy and even be 'okay', they'll be fine.

McCann will produce.

Jeter will probably have an okay year.

I guess it's 'okay'. Not as good as I originally though once I went over it one by one.

Pick up a big bat at the deadline and they'll be pretty scarry.

92 runs are hard to replace with Ellsbury gone. Not helping is the injury to Shane Victorino as well. He's probably the best hope for Boston to fix the leadoff problem, if his 2013 numbers carry over, which is not guaranteed, especially if he can't stay healthy.
