mci13 Verified Member Posted December 3, 2013 Posted December 3, 2013 I don't know how to post tweets, but Jason Parks today: I think I’d rather have the #Jays #11-20 prospects than the #1-10 prospects of several orgs. The short-season arms are ridiculous. — Jason Parks (@ProfessorParks) December 2, 2013

theblujay Verified Member Posted December 3, 2013 Posted December 3, 2013 Parks was also talking about Stroman saying he's not worried about his size at all and that he's legit.
Captain Adama Old-Timey Member Posted December 3, 2013 Posted December 3, 2013 I've learned over the past few years following prospects heavily, that proximity to the majors is a real thing. I simply can't agree with Parks here, I love the praise on the guys the Jays have, but really, most of these guys are 4 years away at best.
8D Verified Member Posted December 3, 2013 Posted December 3, 2013 I'm just glad someone still likes the farm and some of the prospects there his top10!

At least it shows that there's validity to the notion that the Jays low minors currently look better than a lot of other team's low minor. A lot of people said as much on this board but since it really seems easy to wishcast on players that are really far away, I openly wondered if that was really the case. This lends legitimacy to the claim.

Most people agree with you but what do you feel is a better system A) Team has one elite talent in AA (pitcher or position player) + three prospects ranging from B+ to B- at AAA, High A, LowA or One borderline elite Talent at AA + Team has 6 or 7 prospects raging from A- to B- at High A and Low A

Prospects are like playing the lottery, the more tickets you have the better chance you have of getting something good.
