G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted April 21, 2014 Posted April 21, 2014 WTF, I can see the thread when it's listed as "last post" on the main forum page, but its hidden in the list of threads under "Toronto Blue Jays Forum". Somewhere, in a cheap diner, ju1ced is laughing himself silly in front of his laptop for f***ing with you

Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 21, 2014 Posted April 21, 2014 Can Ryan Goins stick? The answer is here: http://giant.gfycat.com/OffbeatAnyGibbon.gif Is he uppercutting? That's an awful looking swing.
BigBounceyBlueBalls Old-Timey Member Posted April 21, 2014 Posted April 21, 2014 Let's see I believe rasmus and Edwin both struck out twice as much that game! And goins is hitter closer to his weight then Lawrie when it comes to average ! And destroying Sierra ! Even that stat geeks say it takes as many as 500 at bats before we can decide !

Even that stat geeks say it takes as many as 500 at bats before we can decide ! errr well for one fact Rasmus and Edwin are doing better than Goins is with the bat, and Lawrie not only has a better potential and history as a batter, but he's providing better defence at a more needy spot. As for Sierra: http://giant.gfycat.com/SpitefulDelayedAvians.gif http://giant.gfycat.com/NarrowOpulentCoral.gif
BigBounceyBlueBalls Old-Timey Member Posted April 21, 2014 Posted April 21, 2014 Rasmus Lawrie and edwin are doing no where near what is expected of them either as of yet! Lawrie defense I will give you, as for light years ahead of goins not so much! If I was to believe the board next to Sierra, rasmus has been our biggest defensive weakness this year! More is expected from Lawrie , rasmus and Edwin so they can not be excused or give a free pass! This is a what have you done for me lately kinda sport! No what you did in the past will win me games today! Those 3 will influence the outcome of more then anything that goins can or can't do! thanks to AA we have to play with the hand we have been dealt ! Don't see a lot of hall of fame bats in the minors waiting to be called up either!

G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted April 21, 2014 Posted April 21, 2014 Miguel Cabrera's hitting .220/.292/.356 with only one homer. Welp there goes his career, right? Well it's iffy, obviously. It's certainly time to ask the question anyhow... Can Miguel Cabrera stick??
GD Old-Timey Member Posted April 21, 2014 Posted April 21, 2014 Miguel Cabrera's hitting .220/.292/.356 with only one homer. Welp there goes his career, right? shut up
BigBounceyBlueBalls Old-Timey Member Posted April 21, 2014 Posted April 21, 2014 Silly point to raise ! And second not a jay so I could care even less! In fact I hope he fails !
Sammy225 Old-Timey Member Posted April 21, 2014 Posted April 21, 2014 Well it's iffy, obviously. It's certainly time to ask the question anyhow... Can Miguel Cabrera stick?? Well considering this is a "what have you done for me lately" kind of sport. They might as well just forget about him and try and trade him for a bag of balls or anything.
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted April 21, 2014 Posted April 21, 2014 Well it's iffy, obviously. It's certainly time to ask the question anyhow... Can Miguel Cabrera stick?? Oh god... WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?? shut up Chris Colabello is doing mighty fine with a .353/.397/.529 statline, although he's hard to part with, as a friend you can have him for Miggy on the cheap
BigBounceyBlueBalls Old-Timey Member Posted April 21, 2014 Posted April 21, 2014 If you except failure from our key players who mean more to this team and the outcome of the season. How can you put the blame on Ryan? His defense and bat are not the reason we have lost games! He bats ninth for a reason ! More so is expected from the others that have been mentioned! Their play and their bats failures should worry the team and fans more if they can't turn it around more! And if they don't will cost us more then games if goins ever will, that's what I am saying! Get it ! Got it! Good today maybe you finally have a light bulb moment ! Lol
BigBounceyBlueBalls Old-Timey Member Posted April 21, 2014 Posted April 21, 2014 There's like 2000+ PA available as evidence. Yes and not enough on goins in the majors! Can't have it both ways! This ain't no f***ing Burger King !
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted April 21, 2014 Posted April 21, 2014 Yes and not enough on goins in the majors! Can't have it both ways! This ain't no f***ing Burger King ! I'll be honest, I lol'd Regardless Kawazaki's done more recently than Goins therefore using your idea about baseball being a "what have you done for me lately sport" has proven again that Kawazaki should be up and starting!

They might as well just forget about him and try and trade him for a bag of balls or anything. You miss the point ! Nobody cares who won the World Series last year, even less since it was boston or how many hr's mike trout hit! I only care if we can win it this year and if bats and Edwin can hit forty or fifty ! I am a Jays fan first! f*** the rest of them I do not care for them!
jayswin11 Verified Member Posted April 21, 2014 Posted April 21, 2014 I might get s*** on for this but............... If Arizona continues to play badly, what about A.Hill? He's not playing well right now, but if he came cheap might boost the offence a bit. Maybe bring Cody Ross along too to platoon at DH. This is all of course if we can stay in the hunt.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted April 21, 2014 Posted April 21, 2014 Can Ryan Goins stick? First off, you are really showing your immaturity by showing a Goins K in a tough lefty/lefty match up for a player with less than 200 MLB PA's, pathetic display on your part. Secondly, how on God's green earth can you even remotely make a statement like "errr well for one fact Rasmus and Edwin are doing better than Goins is with the bat". Are you f***ing serious? You are actually comparing Rasmus and EE and using them in the same sentence with Ryan Goins? What a stupid f***ing place this is. #idiotville

I am neither for you or again you on this, fat! His also has higher expectations on him then goins! Batting second then ninth ! I don't hate Kawasaki either ! But goins has not been given the time and at bats that muni has either !
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted April 21, 2014 Posted April 21, 2014 I'll be honest, I lol'd Regardless Kawazaki's done more recently than Goins therefore using your idea about baseball being a "what have you done for me lately sport" has proven again that Kawazaki should be up and starting! If Goins' numbers are still sitting in the Mendoza atmosphere at the end of may, then a Kawasaki call up can be warranted. Defensively,Kawasaki is outmatched badly, that's why he was sent down. Goins' offensive numbers mathematically speaking should improve given more playing time. His BABIP numbers have to start normalizing,no?
BigBounceyBlueBalls Old-Timey Member Posted April 21, 2014 Posted April 21, 2014 If a trade can be made I still would like to try for Scutaro!

Secondly I am not f***ing comparing him to Edwin and Lawrie. That's BigBouncyBlueBalls. At least read before you type my goodness and you're calling everyone dumn lmao. If anything the GIF I showed was not even the worst one, Goins is s*** in general at the plate if you want me to go and make a gif of a righty/lefty matchup so I can prove you wrong I'd be more than happy to

I don't hate Kawasaki either ! But goins has not been given the time and at bats that muni has either ! His minor league track record is bad too, if anything Diaz should be playing more If Goins' numbers are still sitting in the Mendoza atmosphere at the end of may, then a Kawasaki call up can be warranted. Defensively,Kawasaki is outmatched badly, that's why he was sent down. Goins' offensive numbers mathematically speaking should improve given more playing time. gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted April 21, 2014 Posted April 21, 2014 Babip does not always = luck. If you make weak contact and hit groundballs all the time, you are going to have a low babip. Please.. At least half of his GO's were struck well or decently enough to be hits with a little more luck and you f***ing know it.

The dude should be lining balls and getting them in the air
