I took Davis in the Premier League and I remember some people disliked that pick where I took him. Never expected him to mash the way he is now, though I was expecting a .260 average, 35-40 HR's in March. Crazy season. Always liked him, even when he was with Texas.

This is only just; you don't build a team by trading away your youth/prospects for declining players on the wrong side of 30.

 

A very satisfying outcome, in a way. Just a shame that it had to be OUR team to once again prove this hypothesis.

Yes, they were mocking me for not openly supporting a sports team.

There literally isnt one positive thing about this whole organization anymore. The GM got married, became fat and literally stoped giving a s*** about the long term success of the organization and just chased a short term goal of winning a title. Beeston is as full of s*** as ever. The ML team blows, our farm team is very mediocre again. Watching the team isnt even enjoyable anymore. Ive watched the Jays for the past 15 years and the losing has never really bothered me, its baseball and I usually enjoy watching the team, win or lose. But the team now is just unbarable. Its full of hot heads, arrogant pricks, and guys who just don't seem to care out there ( it should be obvious who Im referring to in all 3 of those cases).

I don't agree. AA's weight gain is probably the result of stress of building the team. It hasn't worked out this year, but the track record of these players is better than they have shown. The team could even finish close to 500 this year,
