baseballsss Verified Member Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 We could be looking at a major second-half collapse. At least there will be no excuses (injures! bad luck!) if they lose 90 games. collapse to what?
wardhenke1 Verified Member Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 I agree that AA can't hold a fire sale or he might as well resign, but truthfully any GM worth his salt in this league would recognize that this season has been a debacle and offers should now be heard for anyone on this team. And yes, I said anyone....
FireAlexAnthopoulos Verified Member Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 Is it really a "collapse" when you suck from start to finish?
dineke Old-Timey Member Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 collapse to what? ML record for single season losses?
baseballsss Verified Member Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 ML record for single season losses? i think thats all we can collapse to so i guess so
Clojojo Verified Member Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 Am i welcomed back here? or will continue to be banished for predicting this teams demise?
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 Lawrie looking awful out of time
dineke Old-Timey Member Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 This is as low as you can go. Last place with a 120 mil payroll. At least the Astros and Marlins are young and rebuilding.
Arkadium Verified Member Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 I can't see this team being good again for a LONG time... I mean there's way too much suck to be able to build from
baseballsss Verified Member Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 As in the wheels totally fall like they did last year, when they finished the season 22-40. It happens when the players stop caring, the bullpen gets exhausted, depth runs thin, etc. They can go much lower than they are currently. its already happening if you haven't noticed.
FireAlexAnthopoulos Verified Member Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 Quite frankly, I hope this team loses every single remaining game in a blowout. AA and Beeston deserve it for their arrogance and incompetence. Gibbons deserves it for his complete inability to manage an MLB club. The players deserve it for being shiftless turds who don't even put in one discernible iota of effort. Maybe THAT would finally wake ownership up to the fact that drastic change is needed.
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 This is as low as you can go. Last place with a 120 mil payroll. At least the Astros and Marlins are young and rebuilding. Wrong bro. The Blue Jays have good young core: Syndergaard, dArnaud, Nicolino, Marisnick, Wocj and Gose.
dineke Old-Timey Member Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 Wrong bro. The Blue Jays have good young core: Syndergaard, dArnaud, Nicolino, Marisnick, Wocj and Gose. Yeah you're right, all of them are studs except for Gose.
Arkadium Verified Member Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 Wrong bro. The Blue Jays have good young core: Syndergaard, dArnaud, Nicolino, Marisnick, Wocj and Gose. Reported.
Arkadium Verified Member Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 Is it just me or is it pretty retarded team management that we don't have a long man and have to use 7-8 pitchers in a blow out?
dineke Old-Timey Member Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 I don't think there's an organization that's in a worse position than the Jays except for the Angels... oh wait they have Trout... nvm.
Clojojo Verified Member Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 Wilnercibia? clowntista my hope is now that the season is lost we can finally have some discussion about moving forward trade any piece that has value and move on there is NO way this team competes next year even with another starter this mess can be fixed but AAs wagon is not repairable cut the losses an move on
wardhenke1 Verified Member Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 Wrong bro. The Blue Jays have good young core: Syndergaard, dArnaud, Nicolino, Marisnick, Wocj and Gose. Don't forget Hechavarria!

Arkadium Verified Member Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 Josh Thole - Career SLG < John McDonald and Jays fans want him as our every day catcher...... this team is truly fuct
Horses Fart Old-Timey Member Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 Might be some bad news for the Pirates tonight
dineke Old-Timey Member Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 Pirates need a closer... Janssen's market grows.
Horses Fart Old-Timey Member Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 Pirates need a closer... Janssen's market grows. Snider!
Arkadium Verified Member Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 That was a fun game. Seriously, can't wait for to watch the rest of the season!
FireAlexAnthopoulos Verified Member Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 Easily my favourite player to watch this year. Just a f***ing monster. Hell, I like watching the Orioles' whole team - not to mention the Rays and Pirates. Talk about teams that were built the right way with ownership and an FO that cares about winning. Wish we had that.
