G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted July 2, 2013 Posted July 2, 2013 Morosi must have been interviewing the team. Will look for article. For now:
DickeyJohnsonWang Verified Member Posted July 2, 2013 Posted July 2, 2013 Would be nice if one of those could become a solid piece of the rotation in Aug/Sept
DickeyJohnsonWang Verified Member Posted July 2, 2013 Posted July 2, 2013 Arencibia is hitting .295 with 11HR and 26RBI at home. 40K/3BB It's his road numbers that kills this team. .143 avg with 4HR/12RBI, 50K/6BB

It's probably just luck. I care about the full season of work and his BA/OBP/K rates are unnaceptable

flafson Verified Member Posted July 2, 2013 Posted July 2, 2013 They should stop everything they do with him and put him on the velocity program, might fix his arm.
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted July 2, 2013 Posted July 2, 2013 Apparently Morrow was finally able to throw pain free today from 60 feet. Moving on up to 90 feet tomorrow. At least that's something.
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted July 2, 2013 Posted July 2, 2013 Happ throwing live BP today, but won't start a rehab assignment until his knee is pain free (guess it still isn't).

KSaw Verified Member Posted July 3, 2013 Posted July 3, 2013 Not until August? wow. Have some of you been hiding under rocks? He is out until mid August at earliest. He may be gone for the season. Forearm tendinitis. And he is diabetic, which impacts recover time.

KSaw Verified Member Posted July 3, 2013 Posted July 3, 2013 So basically Morrow is never going to be consistantly healthy!? I'm not saying that. Tendinitis doesn't have to be a big deal. That said, whenever he is injured, it will be a challenge for him to recover. McGowan is a pretty close to home example.
