onwego Verified Member Posted May 29, 2018 Posted May 29, 2018 Houston obviously quit. Cheated the fans Nah, they gave their best, you can't run around flinging random 3 point shots and beat a team like GST. D'Antoni likes gimmicks that always fail when it really matters. Good amusing fun in the regular season though, that goes a long way, Nash built a great career out of regular season pyrotechnics. At one point I froze the screen and the Warriors had 4 shooters all spread out in 3 point territory, Green the weakest shooter of them, you can't beat this team when they are on heat checks.
onwego Verified Member Posted May 29, 2018 Posted May 29, 2018 I go back to 1973 or so watching the game, Bird showed up just in time for high school and undergrad years to watch, forever grateful for that. The game has evolved so much that every single square inch up to 6 feet beyond the 3 point arc is analyzed and strategized by the best coaches and players. And Curry has taken it beyond 6 feet sometimes. I regret that Bird and Rick Barry and Reggie Miller didn't have the freedom to take 13 3 point shots a game with ease during their careers.
onwego Verified Member Posted May 29, 2018 Posted May 29, 2018 World B. Free wouldn't have had to get closer than 6 feet to the 3 point arc at either end of the court playing today.

burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted May 30, 2018 Posted May 30, 2018 On one hand it has to be collagelo.. On the other hand what GM would waste that much time on Twitter and if not him then who is it?
P2F Old-Timey Member Posted May 30, 2018 Posted May 30, 2018 On one hand it has to be collagelo.. On the other hand what GM would waste that much time on Twitter and if not him then who is it? Plausibly, the only other possibilities would be Colangelo's office assistant or a close family member/friend. But, I mean, it's Colangelo. And it's both hilarious and bizarre.

And since someone tipped off that it was Col, they’d be trying to frame him. No surprise this story got some good legs:)

connorp Old-Timey Member Posted May 31, 2018 Posted May 31, 2018 His wife? She should come clean if it’s her. He’ll keep his job in that case I think for sure. Could be she’s eve falling on the sword for him lol
AdamGreenwood Old-Timey Member Posted May 31, 2018 Posted May 31, 2018 Who cares? So what if he makes up fake accounts to get into flame wars I think it's kind of cool. Frankly, I'd love a GM that involved.

Frankly, I'd love a GM that involved. I think the issue would be mocking and calling out his own players and giving sensitive information like failed physicals and that’s why one of your players is untradable. Especially since he was mocking one of the more popular guys in the league (Embiid), that’s not a rep you want your Pres having within your own team and around the league
connorp Old-Timey Member Posted May 31, 2018 Posted May 31, 2018 he shouldn't lose his job, but this is a team that has potential to be very good and he is doing this garbage? He should lose job if he did it. But if it’s a passionate spouse, can’t really fire him for that but it’ll be a scandal thats referenced a lot

I don't recall problems while he was in town, not sure if he was married, surprised I"m getting dragged into thinking about this....
connorp Old-Timey Member Posted June 1, 2018 Posted June 1, 2018 Clarkson dgaf if his shots going or not. He’s chucking
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted June 1, 2018 Posted June 1, 2018 Nothing like getting stuffed by the rim, eh McGee?
connorp Old-Timey Member Posted June 1, 2018 Posted June 1, 2018 JR Smith forgot the f***ing score!! Lol That’s up there with Chris Webber
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted June 1, 2018 Posted June 1, 2018 JR Smith forgot the f***ing score!! Lol That’s up there with Chris Webber That was hilarious! This has been a fun game.
onwego Verified Member Posted June 1, 2018 Posted June 1, 2018 JR Smith forgot the f***ing score!! Lol That’s up there with Chris Webber Derek Harper and Magic Johnson also forgot the score was tied during playoff games, ran the clock out without taking a last shot.
Spanky__99 Old-Timey Member Posted June 1, 2018 Posted June 1, 2018 I’ll take Cavs + 13 tonight How much you win?
connorp Old-Timey Member Posted June 1, 2018 Posted June 1, 2018 How much you win? I don’t gamble but literally every time I see something that I’d put money on, I’d win. Not using powers of hindsight either but if I ever did bet, I know how it’d turn out
connorp Old-Timey Member Posted June 1, 2018 Posted June 1, 2018 She should come clean if it’s her. He’ll keep his job in that case I think for sure. Could be she’s eve falling on the sword for him lol Reports sound like it being the wife won’t get him off the hook. I guess that makes sense really. They’re about to compete for top free agents and titles and especially with Embiid involved in the drama prob not smart to keep him

Cost them a few titles easily.

connorp Old-Timey Member Posted June 7, 2018 Posted June 7, 2018 KD single-handedly making a W possible for GS. Should’ve been blowout otherwise
onwego Verified Member Posted June 7, 2018 Posted June 7, 2018 LeBron did all he could, he cut deep into the D and then flung it back out for an open shot at least 10 times last night and his team couldn't handle that.
connorp Old-Timey Member Posted June 7, 2018 Posted June 7, 2018 Colangelo fired. At first I was thinking maybe he’d survive if it was the wife but her opinions were likely just parroting what she was talking about with her husband so no coming back from that
