Man... I don't know a whole lot about basketball stats or strategy. Do you think JJ should be starting?

Starting him with Amir and JV likely causes serious spacing issues so I'd say no.

I just want him to get Hansborough's minutes/cut into Amir's a little bit. He can play the f***ing 4 spot. Just give him a chance.

Blake Griffin out indefinitely with the same problem that knocked Alex Rios out in 2006:

I'd never wish injury on any player... but I hate Blake Griffin. This is karma for his constant bitching/whining.

An Amir/Patterson/Johnson front court line up to finish off games would be awesome. Even a JV/Patterson/Johnson line up would work. If you have guys who set good screens and cut hard, you don't need multiple long distance shooters to run an effective offence.

You could probably make an argument for James Johnson being our second or third best player, he's become that good..to bad he f***ed the coach's wife three years ago

That'd probably be the best lineup we could throw out there (assuming JV isn't getting any minutes) in crunch time.

Do you prefer DD at the 2 or the 3 spot long term?

Some people will argue Phil Jackson and his 11 rings. Don't get me wrong Gregg Popovich has coached some great players. I mean he had Robinson and Duncan. But I don't think he had the superstars Phil had when he coached the Bulls and Lakers. Jordan and Pippen, Kobe and Shaq are the most dominating duo's in NBA history. Those Bulls teams were stacked. Lakers had the 2 most dominating players of an era. Pop has got it done with getting the most out of his player. Duncan will be a first ballot hall of famer. Parker and Manu were great players. But it was the Spurs depth, and Pop getting so much of his role players is what puts him over the top for me.

Pop is better hands down. Thats why you don't use rings to evaluate players/coaches but rather their full body of work including who they are playing with etc...

Pop's system turns average players into extremely useful players. It's not like Tony Parker/Manu/Kawhi/Splitter/Mills etc. were all hyped or anything. His success rate on draft picks in the late 1st round/2nd round has been astonishing.

Tonight could be a telling game of the way this team uses JJ. He should get easily 25+ mins, if he does then maybe he was just nursing the hamstring and that's why he wasn't getting much PT.

Leonard is going to be locking down the shooters all night, and if we don't utilize JJ to cut to the basket like the Clippers' game we'll be in a lot of trouble. He also shut down Blake Griffin, one of the most athletic players in the league, so he could take on Kawhi or the 4.

I liked everything I saw tonight until the second unit came and and went into stupid 3 ball chucking mode.

This team really needs a legit backup pg, not two fake pgs who can't run the offense in Vasquez and williams.

Lmfao they're just killing us.

Might need to sit JV. No mobility out there.

Somehow I figure that everyone complaining about JV's lack of mobility will be complaining that he isn't strong enough if he loses weight to get quicker

Well most teams aren't the Spurs. It's just a bad matchup for him.

Was more of a general complaint. Fairly reasonable to not expect much out of JV this game.
