connorp Old-Timey Member Posted May 8, 2019 Posted May 8, 2019 I would love to have Jimmy Butler on my team. Good leader. They were going off on Embid for reading his stat sheet on the bench when down 30 plus points... Embiid should’ve just sat. There was no benefit to playing sick if he wasn’t ready to go. Getting torched all over the place now. He was awful. Besides the horrendous passes he would mostly just camp out at the 3 point line. I know Toronto played great D but at times he showed to could get to the hole when he wanted. Effort was just s***
connorp Old-Timey Member Posted May 9, 2019 Posted May 9, 2019 Everyone stroked Boston’s wang as a coming dynasty but it could go south fast. Kyrie goes, Tatum and Brown haven’t really developed, Hortford on his swan song, Haywood a cap killer, etc I thought they’d come together come playoff time but hasn’t happened
connorp Old-Timey Member Posted May 9, 2019 Posted May 9, 2019 lol You got something to say twinkle toes?
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted May 9, 2019 Posted May 9, 2019 Fantastic job by Boston of showing how not to play an elimination game.
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted May 9, 2019 Posted May 9, 2019 Durant may have just suffered a major injury. With Curry unable to hit a shot, it could be a turning point in the series.
Spanky__99 Old-Timey Member Posted May 9, 2019 Posted May 9, 2019 Durant may have just suffered a major injury. With Curry unable to hit a shot, it could be a turning point in the series. Yeah... no...
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted May 9, 2019 Posted May 9, 2019 Yeah... no... Still could be, but Houston had a golden opportunity and Harden disappeared lol.
Bobthe4th Old-Timey Member Posted May 9, 2019 Posted May 9, 2019 The Bucks dealt surprisingly easily with the Celtics after the Celtics dominated game 1, and the Bucks bench looks like a real asset. I think they could push the Warriors a lot closer than many anticipated if they get past the Raptors/76ers. Obviously if Curry, Klay and Durant all shoot lights out it doesn't really matter who the opponent is, but all 3 being on fire in the same game hasn't happened much in the playoffs this year.
Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted May 9, 2019 Posted May 9, 2019 Yeah... no... Losing Durant couldn't be a turning point?
connorp Old-Timey Member Posted May 9, 2019 Posted May 9, 2019 So now Houston fans can’t cry about no Paul last year. Now GS is without their star player (who’s better than CP). We’ll see what happens
connorp Old-Timey Member Posted May 9, 2019 Posted May 9, 2019 I haven’t read anything on Embiid’s condition but if he’s feeling better, tonight should be a good game.
Carlos Danger Old-Timey Member Posted May 9, 2019 Posted May 9, 2019 Not going to lie, I am nervous.. I have a feeling this might be like game 2 or 3.. I hope to heck not... Do NOT want to even think about game 7. I think Jimmy Butler will be very strong tonight..

Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted May 9, 2019 Posted May 9, 2019 I feel like we're gonna take this one, but not in a blowout. I actually think we could see a big night from Lowry.
connorp Old-Timey Member Posted May 10, 2019 Posted May 10, 2019 Embiid looks really passive. Had room to operate top of the key but tosses ball high in the corner to a covered Butler.
Carlos Danger Old-Timey Member Posted May 10, 2019 Posted May 10, 2019 Stop giving the ball to Ibaka to take shots if he is not on tonight. He could barley make a free throw and can't make a 3 to save his life. Use him for D and set up guys who can make a 3.
bzapple Verified Member Posted May 10, 2019 Posted May 10, 2019 I know the Raptors broadcasters are biased but honestly ESPN is supposed to be a national broadcast and they're so obviously pulling for Philly.

Who is the *chick?? I guess I have not watched an ESPN broadcast of an NBA game recently.. Edit to add annoying..
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted May 10, 2019 Posted May 10, 2019 We have no intensity out there right now. That's not the effort level we need.
Carlos Danger Old-Timey Member Posted May 10, 2019 Posted May 10, 2019 Man, they are making every three and we are making none.. We keep giving the ball to guys who should not be shooting threes. They better tighten up before this gets out of hand.
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted May 10, 2019 Posted May 10, 2019 Jesus Christ, they are just hitting everything
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted May 10, 2019 Posted May 10, 2019 Wow, what a great game this is HELLO GET THAT GAHBAGE OUTTA HIYA
Carlos Danger Old-Timey Member Posted May 10, 2019 Posted May 10, 2019 Missed 8 consecutive 3's. 2-12... ESPN is good for something.
Carlos Danger Old-Timey Member Posted May 10, 2019 Posted May 10, 2019 Why are we fnnn leaving these guys open for 3 point attempt rebounds.. Wide open...Our African combo can't hit a three to save their lives...
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted May 10, 2019 Posted May 10, 2019 Those last two possessions hurt.
