The Cavs are making everything. Starting to pull away now, will need to start making shots and playing really tight D or it could get out of hand.

There's been like 4 or 5 airballs from the Cavs that the Raptors haven't picked up. Our rebounding needs a lot of help, hopefully Sullinger can help with that once he's back, but we'll need more than just one guy. We're constantly losing rebounding and getting destroyed on the offensive glass.

I know it's still early in the season, but I just don't see how they would beat the cavs in the playoffs, and the road to the finals goes through Cleveland.

It's pretty simple really, without a 3rd scoring threat.... they won't get to the next level. You can't put their roster against any elite team and stack up.

Man, Durant and the Warriors are so f***ing good. He was the ultimate addition to their team.

 

KD currently averaging a career high in blocks, rebounds, steals, eFG% (by a lot), while still putting up 27+ PPG with nearly 5 assists per game.

As I type this the Warriors have 80 in the fist half with Klay pouring in 40.

Overall, team scoring is fine yes, but that's with Lowry and Derozan scoring 20 and 30 points per game every night. There's going to be likely a lot if games where that doesn't happen so a legit 3rd scoring threat is essential in my mind to further spread things out and lessen the pres sure on them to be perfect evry night.

Top 2 actually just behind GSW which is amazing.

 

Dissapointed in jv's lack of progression. Still terrible defensively and he wont ever be a force offensively because his awareness is crap so it takes him 10 seconds to pass out of a double team. Although with that contract its hard to complain too much but i wouldnt mind trading him too.

Exactly. He'd be a perfect fit, now the question is if Sac does trade him.

 

In a perfect world they would trade JV+Siakam and a couple 1st round picks. Maybe Powell if you really need to but preferably keep him.

I think they need him as a presence in the middle and on the glass, I don't buy into the "3rd scoring threat".

 

If Joseph, Ross, Carrol and Patterson can shoot 3s within 3% of what they are doing now that is all you need offensively. With Derozan and Lowry's ability to drive to the rim you just need to surround them with 3 point shooters in order to have a very successful offence.

He only has two years left of control which definitely plays a factor. As well, it seems like the Kings have been shopping him for the last 18 months now for an obvious reason and I'm sure other teams are aware of the risk that comes with Cousins. It definitely would have to involve JV + Ross or Powell + high draft picks no doubt.

Control matters a lot less in the NBA than MLB though. You just need to get the player since his team can offer a 5 year max instead of the 4.
