dineke Old-Timey Member Posted June 20, 2016 Posted June 20, 2016 Remember when you called Curry the best player ever? LOL i still think he's hurt but I'll take the L on that one
HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted June 20, 2016 Posted June 20, 2016 glad we got beat by the NBA Champions
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted June 20, 2016 Posted June 20, 2016 i still think he's hurt but I'll take the L on that one It's certainly possible that he's injured, but still, you really jumped the gun on that one.
GD Old-Timey Member Posted June 20, 2016 Posted June 20, 2016 i still think he's hurt but I'll take the L on that one 100% hurt. This is going to be absolutely unbearable
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted June 20, 2016 Posted June 20, 2016 Can we get some quotes King? A nice Trouba roast to end the NBA season would be fun.
dineke Old-Timey Member Posted June 20, 2016 Posted June 20, 2016 100% hurt. This is going to be absolutely unbearable at least we can put to rest the Kobe > Lebron thing I think
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted June 20, 2016 Posted June 20, 2016 Honestly, I was rooting for GSW 100%, but I'm not at all mad that Lebron won. Great players do this, he's truly one of a kind.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted June 20, 2016 Posted June 20, 2016 at least we can put to rest the Kobe > Lebron thing I think Lol no, Kobe has so many dickriders that they'll keep throwing the rings argument in there even though Kobe happened to have elite bigmen (including one of the best of all time) help him out in all of them.
dineke Old-Timey Member Posted June 20, 2016 Posted June 20, 2016 so now who's the most miserable sports city? is it us?
Stoneyen Verified Member Posted June 20, 2016 Posted June 20, 2016 Lebron went full GOAT when the series was on the line. Good for him to come through, although he still acted like a huge bitch throughout the series.
crazy47larry Verified Member Posted June 20, 2016 Posted June 20, 2016 lebron exorcised a lot of demons. leading his team down 3-1 will do that. the lebron suckfest is gonna be annoying though.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted June 20, 2016 Posted June 20, 2016 We won 2 games against the NBA champs, who later beat the team with the best record in history. Season = success
TheHurl Site Manager Posted June 20, 2016 Posted June 20, 2016 at least we can put to rest the Kobe > Lebron thing I think for sure. I've watched basketball since the mid 70's. He's better than them all. Yep I say Lebron over Jordan.
King Old-Timey Member Posted June 20, 2016 Posted June 20, 2016 But we aint beating GSW... NBA was ruined ever since they came into the spotlight. No one will ever beat them. Well, I liked watching the Raps until this dominant force came into the league: the Warriors Correct me if I'm wrong but the whole point of playing is to win a championship, no? Sorry but if that's not the goal, then why bother playing? Now we have no chance of winning a championship. NBA sucks because this Warriors team is unbeatable and will be a dynasty. Also, every other sport requires a "TEAM" rather than a few good players (Curry, Thompson, Green) to win it all. And I get it TRM, you have a personal vendetta against me. That's my rant for the night about the NBA. TLDR: One super team in a league sucks. I hate pre-determined results. I just like having 4-6 teams that have a legit shot like most other sports. Having no competition is boring. The Spurs are the only team capable of knocking off the Warriors and, even then, it's a long shot. Having a pre-determined winner makes it boring, not to mention the NBA is rigged. Because there's no defence played in today's game, league is rigged, Raps have no shot at winning. Sports are about competition. There is none in the NBA. For now MLB/NFL and even NHL >>> NBA Better than March Madness? Lmao gtfo. NBA playoffs are a snoozefest if you're team isn't in it. NBA refs rig the game...therefore it's boring. You can bet on an NBA game and almost always be right, not with MM. Spurs are elite but Warriors are winning, so why even bother playing the games? Should just crown the Warriors champs. You still didn't answer my question. Why bother playing the games if the Warriors are the undisputed champs? No other league is like that. Holy. NBA playoffs are an absolute snooze fest. All blowouts. Still stand by NHL playoffs >>>> NBA playoffs. bump
GD Old-Timey Member Posted June 20, 2016 Posted June 20, 2016 Kobe > Lebron has been dead for a while, it's mostly just Lakers fans now. I don't know many objective fans who still say Kobe > Lebron
Art Vandelay Verified Member Posted June 20, 2016 Posted June 20, 2016 for sure. I've watched basketball since the mid 70's. He's better than them all. Yep I say Lebron over Jordan. Come on, dude.
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted June 20, 2016 Posted June 20, 2016 Lebron led the series in points, rebounds, assists, steals and blocks. Has to be the most dominating performance I've seen.
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted June 20, 2016 Posted June 20, 2016 Kobe > Lebron has been dead for a while, it's mostly just Lakers fans now. I don't know many objective fans who still say Kobe > Lebron If I was starting a franchise right now and had 19 year old Kobe and 19 year old LeBron to choose from ... i'd take LeBron every time.
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted June 20, 2016 Posted June 20, 2016 If I was starting a franchise right now and had 19 year old Kobe and 19 year old LeBron to choose from ... i'd take LeBron every time. If I was starting a franchise and I had the choice of a 19 year old Kobe and a 27 year old Lebron I'm still taking Lebron every time lol.
labadee Verified Member Posted June 22, 2016 Posted June 22, 2016 Derrick Rose to the Knicks, wow didn't see that coming
jays_fever Old-Timey Member Posted June 22, 2016 Posted June 22, 2016 Anderson Varerijo actually tried to celebrate with the Cavs after game 7. What a tool
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted June 22, 2016 Posted June 22, 2016 Classic Knicks, acquiring another overrated and flawed volume scorer.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted June 22, 2016 Posted June 22, 2016 Anderson Varerijo actually tried to celebrate with the Cavs after game 7. What a tool He gets a ring though, right?
jays_fever Old-Timey Member Posted June 22, 2016 Posted June 22, 2016 He gets a ring though, right? Not sure if that's how it works in basketball as well. But its such a bitch move and so disrespectful to his teammates that just had their season end
